Malware

The helicopter flew through the skies, flying across the massive desert you were stuck in. You sat down and looked out the window, seeing all the land that you and Sky should have walked through, but would never survived. You looked back inside the helicopter then to the person with the visor, who was looking at you. 

You knew this person was a Protogen just like Sky, but different color. It looked like it had been through the apocalypse, like a war of some sort. As the Protogen smiled at you, you did nothing but look back outside

"We're lucky we found you two, otherwise the Antigens would" The Protogen said, sounding like a girl

"The who?" You ask

"Oh, just Malware's private soldiers" The Protogen replied

"Malware?" You ask

"It's a long story, it's best I explain it to you once we arrive" The Protogen said

The helicopter began slowly down, looking down you saw a helipad under you, the helicopter slowly descending down to it. Next to you was a massive building, almost like a mall, placed right near a large set of mountains. As you touched ground, you could barely hear soldiers outside in a rush, opening the door and rushing you

"Get out hurry!"

"Get inside the base!"

As you and Sky got out, you looked back to the desert and saw these Protogen like creatures, but but looking and acting almost like, zombies

"Shit! Corrupted Protogens!" A man yelled

The soldiers began firing at the horde running to the base, preventing them from doing so. Some soldiers lead you inside the base as you looked back and saw the horde grow and grow. Finally, you and Sky were inside the base, the guards closing the doors, locking themselves out with the horde.

You and Sky turned your backs to look inside, and there you were surprised to see an entire refugee camp, hidden inside this massive building. The Protogen from earlier then walked over to you and Sky

"You guys alright? Any bites, scratches? Anything?" The Protogen asked

"No...no we're good" You respond

"Well good, now come on. Keep up" The Protogen said, walking into the camp, you and Sky following behind

As you walked through the camp, you could see that the only refugees here were Protogens, as if you were the only human here

"Why are there so many Protogens?" You ask

"These are the ones that escaped the hands of the CIA and Malware, now come on, Don want to meet the two of you" The Protogen said, walking up a set of stairs

"Uhm, who's Don?" Sky asked

"The leader of this place of course" The Protogen responded

"But why us?" You ask

"It's been a while since we last saw a desert crawler, so why not meet one" The Protogen said

You finally arrive to the top floor, coming to a large room which was meant to be an attic, turned into a full on lounge. Near the window you saw a large desk with all sorts of tech on it. Behind it was a man as tall as you, observing all this tech

"Don, I brought you them"The Protogen said

Don turned his back to look at us, smiling upon seeing you and Sky

"Welcome" Don said

"So you're Don?" You ask

"Indeed, looks like Sammy's introduced me to you" Don said
