Your helicopter landed on the Hidden Island, far into the Pacific Ocean and far from any humans. As you landed you were all greeted by a large crowd of happy Protogens, cheering you for your achievement. You smiled back as you looked at the crowd, slowly climbing out of the helicopter due to your injuries, walking over to the medical tent, where you lay on a bed and sleep for the rest of the day.
12 HOURS LATER
You slowly opened your eyes as the setting sun glistened in your eyes, and sitting next to you was Sky, who was slowly caressing you hair with her paw, a smirk on her face
"Good morning sunshine." She whispered
"How long was I asleep for?" You asked.
"Half a day maybe."
You didn't respond, slowly placing your hand on your head to find a bandage wrapped around it.
"Was I injured that badly?" You ask.
"I guess so. Malice got a good kick on you" Sky responded.
You let out a sigh before saying "So we did it?"
"We did" Sky responded, slowly caressing your hair once again, coming in to give you a kiss.
As she disconnected, you could hear the sound of someone speaking outside. You slowly stood back up as Sky helped you, walking out of the tent to see Mike giving a speech.
"We've come through our challenges. Fighting M.A.D and the government for our freedom, but we couldn't have done it without the sacrifices of our friends, our brothers and sister, out sons and daughters, who put their lives on the line to protect ours, which is why today we honor them for their contributions to us, to protect us all, and getting us all this way to the Hidden Island. So to them, we pray for them, thank them for getting us here, to the Hidden Island!"
The crowd cheered as Mike finished his speech, clapping and cheering when they saw you come out of the tent. Sky and you walked over to Mike, who had looked back to see the two of us, smiling upon sight.
"Glad to have you back Y/N" Mike said.
"Glad to be here" You responded.
"Well, we did it Y/N. Stopping Malice and M.A.D, what a day huh?"
"You could say that again" You said.
"So, now where do you go from here Y/N?" Mike asked.
You looked back at the helicopter landed near the beach and responded.
"It's time for me to go home, my real home, back in Nevada."
You could see Sky being to worry a bit.
"I guess you're right, that is your home" Mike said.
"It's your's as well. Are you not coming?" You asked.
"No pal, I'm staying here, just as a precaution" Mike responded.
"Well, I had a good time working with you" You say.
"Goodbye pal, thanks for all the advice" Mike says before you walk over to the helicopter, Sky following behind you.
You see Don sitting in the pilot seat, noticing you before you enter.
"Alright Don, take me home."
"What about her?" Don says as she points to Sky behind you, surprising you a bit.
"Sky, what are you doing? You need to stay here" You say.
"No Y/N, I'm not leaving you" Sky responds.
"What? Why?" You ask.
"Because. . . Because I love you, and spending a day without seeing you smile or laugh, it'll just rip my heart in two. So please, let me come with you" Sky begged you.
You stood silent for some time, looking back at Don, who was looking with no expression. Finally, you looked back at Sky, and responded.
"Alright, hop in" Sky smiled upon hearing this, giving you a tight hug before jumping in the helicopter like a pup. You smiled and climbed on, closing the door and slowly hovering up, far from the Hidden Island.
We've all pondered what creatures may lie between the stars, where it may be from aliens to possibly anything. Now that the Protogens have shown us the answer, it's time they stay as a secret, where some time in the distant future, they can make their return, to restore peace in the world.

SOME TIME LATER
As you walked back inside your room holding a cardboard box, Sky followed right behind you as you placed the box on your bed.
"I'm telling you, my aunt and uncle will love you" You said.
"I hope they do" Sky responded.
"I mean, who wouldn't? You're cute and lovable!"
"Aww! Thank you Y/N! You're right! Besides, who wouldn't love a toaster?"
You froze, slowly turning around to Sky.
"What did you say?" You asked her, putting her in a nervous state.
"Oh. . . did I not tell you?" Sky said, scratching the back of her head.
"Tell me what?"
"Turn around" Sky said.
You turned around as you began hearing grunting come from behind you. You began getting concerned over this, turning your head a bit, but Sky stopping you.
"No looking!" She yelled.
Finally, after a few seconds, you heard a ding.
"Ok I'm done!" Sky said, and turning around you were surprised to see a toaster laying on your bed."Say hello to the Prototaster!"
You stood in shock.
"You're saying, that this entire time. . . I fucked a toaster?" You asked.
"Uhm...yes?" Sky responded.
"So if, you're a toaster. . . then where does the toast go?"
