That's that Jason saw. The room was covered with the stuff, Jason could feel his stomach rolling in sickness, and resisted the urge to puke.

"Nico?" Jason asked quietly.

There was a small whimper in the corner for a reply. Jason turned his head towards the right corner in the back of the room and Jason saw Nico, sitting there.

Nico's hair was stuck to his head with sweat, tears on the verge of falling, and he was trembling. His hands covered with blood.

"Nico what happened?!" Jason gasped horrified.

"T-t-th-they...c-c-ca-came an-and...k-k-k-k..." Nico was shaking and stuttering, he was hugging his knees.

"Who came?" Jason asked calmly, kneeling down with Nico. "M-m-m-men fr-from h-h-h-hi-his g-ga-gang..." Nico whispered.

"Men from who's gang?" Jason asked patiently.

Nico looked at Jason with wide eyes and trembled, "My father." Jason's eyes widened, and pulled the shaking boy into his arms. Nico struggled and pushed Jason away, Jason looked at him; confused.

"That hurt," Nico whimpered, holding his side.

Jason, swatted Nico's hands away and lifted his shirt quickly. If Jason hadn't been so focused on the huge gash on Nico's side, he would of realized the small blush covering Nico's pale cheeks.

"Oh gods Nico! We need to get you to a hospital!" Jason cried out.

"NO!" Nico shouted, "I'M NOT GOING TO THE DOCTORS!" Nico thrashed, he hated the doctors, the only reason he had forced himself into the hospital last time was to help the Graces.

"Ok, ok, shh. We'll go back to my house, and we can call Leo over ok?" Jason asked as if he was talking to a small child. Nico nodded, and then he muttered, his eyelids drooping, "I don't feel so good..."

"Just go to sleep, I'll carry you out to my car," Jason gently said.

"No, no...I got it," but Nico was lying, and his eyes rolled back into his head; his head lolling onto his shoulder.

Jason's eyes angled at a sad emotion, how much would Nico have to go through? Shaking his head, Jason picked up Nico and brought him to his car. Gently laying down the warn out Italian in the front seat. Jason got into his car and put the car into drive and drove off for home.
