Tuesday March 14th and another normal school day for Futakuchi. In any case, he can't remember that anything is scheduled at school today, or rather nothing that concerns others. He was on his way to the class 3-c classroom to see if Moniwa was free. Of course he could wait until breakfast but since he doesn't know if Moniwa's call yesterday was important he wanted to ask him about it now. Just as he was about to open the door to the room, it opened by itself and someone ran into him. And who could it be but the person he sought out. "Hm oh good morning Kenji, what brings you here?" He looked down at the smaller one and smiled. "Good morning Kaname. It's nothing important but you called me yesterday so I wanted to ask if it was anything important." He answered the smaller one, who waved him off. "Not really, I just thought you wanted to say something during our conversation yesterday before Kamasaki and Sasaya came.", the smaller one was right, he did, but he forgot what it was. "Oh, it's not that important, to be honest I even forgot," he laughed a little and heard the smaller one laugh a little too. "I see....is there anything else? After all, classes are about to start and you should have physical education right now." The smaller one said, causing Futakuchi to scratch his head in embarrassment. "Well, so you're free on the weekend? More specifically, Saturday evening, because I thought we could go on a date. So only if you like, after all, your exams are soon, so it would be okay if you decline.", He looked at the smaller one smiled and he felt his cheeks grow warm. "Sure, I rarely have anything to do on the weekends," the smaller one replied with a smile and damn he can never say enough how cute the smaller one is. "Okay then I'll pick you up on Saturday evening at 7 p.m., how do you like that?" he asked and also smiled when the smaller one agreed. So they both say goodbye and go their separate ways, say Futakuchi to the gym and Moniwa to talk with a teacher.

~Timeskip to Saturday March 18th~At 6 p.m. Futakuchi is on the bus on his way to Moniwa. Both have agreed to meet at 7 p.m., but it takes exactly 30 minutes to get to Moniwa by bus. And if he is there earlier, he still has time to spend with Moniwa at his home. He looks at the seat next to him on which the picnic basket is and lifts it up when an elderly woman gets in to make room for her. He puts the basket on his lap and looks out the window while listening to music through headphones. //How often I'll go to his house//, he thought to himself and sighed. He shakes his head to clear his mind, after all the date is supposed to be perfect today so he can't think about that. When the bus stops at its bus stop, he politely asks the elderly woman if he can go through and exits the bus. On the way to the house of Moniwa's apartment, which was not far from the station, he looked around. He knew the street inside and out because since the two have been together they have either been to his place or Moniwa's to watch movies or just to cook together. But Moniwa's family is never there as they live in another apartment to be closer to Moniwa's younger sister's school and mother's work. This is also the reason why both of them always have their peace together when they are at Moniwa's, unlike with Futakuchi since he still lives with his mother and sister. When he arrived at the apartment on the 3rd floor, he rang the doorbell and was quickly let in by Moniwa.

~Timeskip 50 minutes later~

Both sat on a blanket spread out on a small hill enjoying the view. Futakuchi looked to the smaller one for a closer look. Moniwa wore a simple brown jacket and black pants, and wore a scarf that hung back down to his knees when he was standing. He told Futakuchi that it was a gift he received from his mother when he was 7. She told him it belonged to his father before he died shortly after Moniwa's sister was born. He had never really listened, but if he understood correctly, Moniwa once said that his father died in a car accident on the way to work. The smaller one seems to realize that Futakuchi is looking at him because he turns his head towards them and smiles, causing Futakuchi to blush and quickly look away. The smaller one asked if everything was okay and just as Futakuchi was about to answer, they heard the fireworks start in the background, after which they both turn their eyes to it. Futakuchi glanced at Moniwa to see if he liked what he saw and smiled softly when he saw the smaller man's eyes glitter with amazement. So the picnic with the fireworks was a good idea after all. "Do you like the view?" he asked and the smaller one nodded. "Yes it's beautiful, so the whole picnic. Thank you Kenji," the smaller one looked at him and smiled softly. Futakuchi smiled softly as well and moved closer to the smaller one to take his hand and before he could react the smaller one's lips were already on his own for a kiss and they both lingered like that for a while.
