Lexi sat in her bed waiting for Lainey to wake up. She knew last night they stayed up late, but she wasn't sure why Lainey had an anxiety attack quite the way she did last night. It freaked her out, of course she'd want to be only friends with the girl who made her cum like nobody ever. She still cared about her no matter what their title was. They would be friends with benefits for all she cared.

Lexi watched her as she tossed and turned and groaned in her sleep.

"Lainey." She passionately swiped at her cheek. There was no response except the little smile she gained. "Lainey." She wasn't expecting anything out of her since she slept so hard. Lexi would swear she was doped up on something last night that made her crash the way she did.

As Lexi went to call Lainey's name again,
Lainey jumped awake gasping for air. Lexi grabbed her and laid her back down, using her weight to coax Lainey out of whatever bad dream she was in.

"It's okay... I'm here." Lexi said softly and Lainey laid back down. Lexi worriedly watched her as she looked around confused.

"Where is she?" Lainey asked, quickly realizing herself and with Lexi's silence that Jess was still gone, she had always been gone and her dream was just a dream She was losing her grip on reality, she probably did drugs last night, but it was up to Lainey to be honest with Lexi about it.

"Lainey we have to talk." Lexi said and Lainey looked over at her all ears. The clock read 12pm. "Last night... it was magical. But I'm worried you need to focus on yourself before you focus on anyone else. I just want to be friends. I know you need someone to be there for you. And I want to be that person for you." Lexi said, sitting with her legs crossed on the bed next to Lainey.

Lainey sighed tiredly, but understood. "I want you to be there like that too." Lainey grabbed her hand and held it. "I love you, Lexi. Like a friend. I'm always here for you like that too. I know it doesn't seem like it but I am and in any other way you might need me." She smirked.

Lexi rolled her eyes and nudged her before smiling. They sat in silence a minute before piping up again, "are you okay? Last night you seemed different..."

"I'm good, Lexi. I promise." She lied once again.

"Good, because I want to party tonight." Lexi grinned widely, unfolding her legs and rummaging through her closet for outfits. "But I want you to be smart about it. No binge drinking. No sex. No drugs."

Lainey looked over at her seriously, "you're taking all the fun out of it!" Lainey laughed, her brow raised and Lexi looked at her seriously now. "What if i promised that I would do my best to behave?"

"If you will actually give it your best try, then yes that would work for me." She smiled. "I'm not trying to be your mother, i just want you to be careful because of who your parents are, it's important that you know drugs and alcohol are more addictive for you than for them because you have their genetics."

"I promise I will take care of myself and not leave you behind like everyone else..." Lainey knew exactly what she was trying to say. "I'll always stay here with you."

Lainey and Lexi held hands and stared at each other a moment longer before Lexi blushed and looked away, releasing her hand from Lainey's.

"Is it okay if we go around 2? I have to work tonight, so we can hit my club up and stay till I have to work." Lainey smiled.

"For sure." Lexi said pulling Lainey out a cute button up and a pair of jeans since they both wear the same size.

They both changed in the same room as Lainey turned and seen Lexi's ass, giving it a smack. "God damn girl. Just know anytime you need it, I'm your girl."

Lexi blushed, "after last night's late night bite, I'll keep that in mind." She said, sighing satisfied after sitting down at her mirror to apply her makeup. Her dress was a short neon one where her nipples shown through the material, Lainey couldn't help herself but stare at her mesmerizing body.

Lainey pulled her pants up and gave a beaming grin before heading out with Lexi to the club. It was 1:30pm once Lexi finished her makeup.

Lexi drove blaring her music and when they pulled out front of the club, there was crowds of people smoking outside. One of those people were Deanna. Lainey exited the car and made her way towards her

"Hello sunshine." Deanna smiled watching Lainey make her way to her with a contagious smile.

"Let me hit that." Lainey chuckled, rolling her eyes. Deanna gave her a look before she handed her the joint and watched as Lexi made her way up to them. She stood there next to Lainey.

"This is my best friend, Lexi." Lainey smiled with her lips pressed together in awkwardness as Lexi raised her hand to shake Deanna's. Lainey handed the joint back to Deanna and Deanna handed it to Lexi.

Lexi thanked her and took some hits, passing it back after.

The music outside the bar blared with surround sound and couples made out against the walls of the exterior. The afternoon sun baked them as they got baked on something else. Lainey and Lexi got to know Deanna a little more than just a little hookup and a boss, but as a friend. The three of them talked along with Deanna's cool friends and the 5 of them talked outside and smoked a few joints.

"Y'all ready to go party on this lovely lord's day?" Deanna laughed with others at her joke and they all headed inside. Lainey smiled at her group of friends and awkward friend/ hookup relationships she had with some of them. Lainey threw her arm around Lexi and smooched her on the cheek before throwing her arm around Deanna arm in arm they walked into the club. Lainey thought to herself that she could finally put girls aside and work on herself, her well-being and mental health. No girl would ever stop Lainey from doing that now.

Lainey smiled at Lexi not realizing another person in her walking path. She shoved into her on accident and looked back to apologize like the girl had, but Lainey only stared at her.

The angelic looking girl with an submissively looking apology written across her face. She instantly intrigued Lainey so much so, that Lainey forgot to apologize. Instead she gave Lainey a rotten look and turned to leave the bar. Lainey wanted to shoot her shot, but if fate wanted them to meet again they would. Where their little bump-in would forever be their before us story.
