* Another wonderful storyline pitched in by ate Soph BbMakata! Same old same old, italicized phrases mean flashbacks from the past. 10K na ang TBDP, 11K na ang DMP, and RA already reached 3K reads with just 11 stories! Thank you po sa inyong lahat!

❗ Semi-AU. May notice minor and drastic differences and additives between the characters. Obviously, we'll be having Leni's Version as part two of this one hehehe.

"Hi," Louise tucked her remaining strands of hair at the back of her earlobe before leaning in to kiss Bongbong at the side of his lips. "Did you wait for long?"

"No, not at all. Kararating ko lang," he muttered reassuringly.

"Oh, okay," she beamed. "Shall we order now?"

After she nodded, they began to scribble down the items on the menu together, and Bongbong couldn't help but sneak covert glances in her direction. In all candor, Bongbong told only half the truth. Twenty minutes had passed since he had arrived at the location where he was waiting for her to join him for the 'date' that she had proposed. He is aware of the situation, and one would think that after thirty years of marriage, they would be familiar with each other's mannerisms. Even though he is used to it, it never fails to make his heart flinch when she makes the same mistake over and over again. However, at the end of the day, a marriage is still a marriage, and nobody is flawless. As a result, you will need to make concessions.

They are actually going to try out La Cabrera for the very first time today. They frequently sample dishes from Chinese and Japanese restaurants, but they have never gone to a Spanish restaurant. In spite of the fact that she will be somewhat late due of an attorney-client matter, Louise is excited and ecstatic about the prospect of trying their delicious steaks because one of her seniors recommended that she do so. After what seemed like an interminable amount of time, Bongbong finally found himself with some spare time on that particular evening, and as a result, the two of them went out on an actual date. Of course, she is certain that Bongbong can be trusted; yet, when it comes to women, the circumstances change drastically when they are adequately reassured.

A waiter approached them and asked for their orders, "Buenas noches, may I take your orders Ma'am Sir?"

"I'll have Grilled Provolone Cheese for my appetizer," Bongbong muttered. "How about you, hon?"

Louise contemplated, "Mmm...I feel like eating blood sausages today so I'll get the creole."

"Vale," the waiter replied. "For your main course and dessert, señora?"

"We'll get the most expensive steak you have, one serve each," she giggled. "And foie gras for the side order, please."

Agad na tumango ang waiter at umalis na sa kanilang harapan matapos i-proseso ang kanilang order. Bongbong initiated the conversation first just to lighten up the mood, "How was your day at the firm?"

"Good but a bit stressful," she honestly answered. "Well, you know Manny Pangilinan, right? He was consulting..."

As Louise began to tell him about the things she wanted to share with him, she had no idea that he had already moved his mind to a place where it was happier than where he was physically, but he was acting as though he was still paying close attention and interested in whatever it was that she was babbling about.

"Bakit mo ba ako dinala dito, ha?" nakangusong pagmamaktol ng kasintahan nito.

Bongbong only chortled, "Gusto lang kitang i-date dito sa Cabalen."
