"Thank you, Sab. Ingat din kayo pauwi ha," Leni bid them goodbye with all smiles.

They had survived another day in the OVP, and now they are preparing to leave in order to return home. It is almost seven in the evening, and the sky is quite a little darker than it was just a moment before. She made the decision to stop having her VPSGs drop her off at work since they needed the extra time to get ready for the day and because her car had been sitting idle in the parking lot for several weeks. As soon as she saw them leave the building, she dashed to the spot where her car was parked and jumped in it, making a sharp turn in the opposite direction that her employees had gone.

She carefully executed a U-turn and then entered the garage of her condominium complex, which was located in the basement. After parking her vehicle, she was taken aback to see that someone was standing by the glass door, evidently waiting for her to complete gathering her belongings from the interior of the car and then exit the vehicle.

"Digong?" she uttered his name in delight as she walked towards him. He just smiled at her and opened his arms wide, ready to accept Leni in his arms and hold her tight. "I thought you already took off!"

"Hindi ko man kayang umalis ng hindi kita nakikita," he kissed the crown of her head.

"Para namang first time mong iniwan ako dito mag-isa," she chuckled, pulling away from his hug to look up at him. "Mag-aalas otso na, hindi pa kayo naka-alis."

"It's okay, wag mong alalahanin ang oras Ma'am," Digong brushed his fingers on her hair. "I just want to see you come home safely before I go para man mapanatag ang aking loob."

"Well, you got what you wanted..." she chortled.

"Here," he offered her a bouquet of red tulips mixed with chrysanthemums and peonies. "Tanaw na tanaw ko yung nalalanta mo ng mga bulaklak mula sa labas. Palitan mo."

"Pati mga bulaklak ko pinapakialaman at minomonitor mo pa sa dami mo ng ginagawa," Leni joked. "Thank you, this smells great, really."

"Gusto ko pa sanang ihatid ka sa unit mo pero..." napakamot ng ulo si Digong sa harap ng bise.

Naputol naman ang sinasabi nito nang pinisil ni Leni ang kanyang kanang kamay, "Hey. It's okay, wag na. You should probably go. Malayo pa ang Villamor dito."

"Promise Ma'am, I'll take you out to dinner pag nakauwi na ako," he beamed at reassured him.

She leaned into him and kissed his chaste lips that longed for that kind of connection ever since the moment they laid eyes on each other, "I love you."

"Isa pa, pwede?" his eyes twinkled in fascination.

"Sira," she cackled and saw a familiar car just outside the guard post near the entrance of the parking. "Sige na, hinihintay ka na ni Bong oh."

He quickly glanced and checked what she just sighted and quickly dipped his face again and kissed her languidly, "I love you too. See you in a few days, mmm?"

"Tawagan mo ako pag naka-land na kayo," pahabol niya pang sabi habang naglakad na paalis ang kasintahan.

Tumalikod na si Leni nang makitang nakasakay na ng maayos si Digong sa sasakyan at pumasok na sa building. She proceeded to enter the elevator by herself, hit the button corresponding to the fourth floor, and then patiently waited inside. She arrived just in time and walked up to her apartment, which was the first one on the right, and opened the door using her keys with just one hand because she was holding a bouquet of flowers in the other hand. After setting her purse and paperwork down, Leni headed straight to the kitchen, where she filled the empty vase with water, cleaned the flowers, and replaced the vase that was previously positioned near the window with a new one.
