"Naku, trending na naman si Madam Leni! Punong-puno na naman ang feed ko ng mga articles about her...so luvette talaga," Bongbong's staff, Agnes, blurted out as she looked on her phone.

The president suddenly snapped at her, disregarding whatever obvious context she muttered, "At nagawa mo pa talagang mag-Twitter, Larejas. Are you kidding me? Everyone is already in uproar about the government not taking measures and actions beforehand; now you think you're in the luxury of scrolling through your phone!?"

"S-sir naman...sabi mo kasi i-check yung weather forecast...'e alam naman nating lahat na Twitter ng DOST-PAGASA yung mabilis na nags-spam ng articles per twenty minutes..." napakamot-ulo na lang si Agnes sa tugon ng presidente.

It was the stressors talking. Bongbong is bound to give a briefing two hours from now and he just got back from another meeting with the PCG, PNP and DND for rescue operation mobilization to be sent to both the mainland and the province, prioritizing upper and lower Luzon. Before Kristine happened, he was busy doing studies about the ties with WPS, the peso-dollar instability, and all other diplomatic concerns. He has his feet too with the consecutive HoR and Senate hearings. He did send people to get in touch with the coming typhoon, but they underestimated the phenomenon that led to this distasteful outcome.

"Sorry...I was just..." Bongbong just put his index finger on his temple as he sighed and closed his eyes, trying to calm his mind. Yes, with closed eyes, because it was hurting from studying all the terrestrial maps and safety measure illustrations in front of him that he just wanted to give up.

"Ayos lang po, kalmahan niyo lang, Pres. Gumagalaw naman po ang LGU, NGOs at ang lokal na pamahalaan. May sarili po silang isip and all you have to do is just provide them what they need," Agnes consoled him.

"And give further instructions. And console the people. And think a mitigation plan. And plan damage control," Bongbong chuckled sarcastically under his breath.

He was too affected about what are the people is saying about him, especially that he had seen the posts himself. People have so much demands and expectations from him. Most days, he just shrugs them off. But this time, he couldn't. He can't blame them for feeling that way because it was obviously, partly his fault - thus it is his conscience that's driving him wild right now.

Chels, one of his PR managers, spoke, "Sir naman..."

"No. Don't try and beautify things and terms for me. It doesn't help at all," he raced his hands through his hair and touched the damned papers again and forced himself to understand them. "Might as well ako na lang siguro mismo ang lumusong sa baha, ano?"

"Tama sir, yan nga ang ginawa ni Ma'am Leni!" as if destiny, Luke—one of Malacañang's associate secretaries—blurted out as the viral picture showed up on his Facebook feed.

"Huy!"
"Ano ba, Luke!"
"Raulo ka baks..."
"Pinagsasasabi mo dyan, wuy!"

Halos sabay-sabay na saway ng lahat ng mga tao kay Luke na nasa silid na iyon. It was so insensitive and mindless of him to speak that way, knowing how guilty and stressed Bongbong is now. Imbes na pinapagaan nila ang loob nito, mukhang lalo pa atang magagalit ang tigre ng norte sa sinabi ng kasamahan.
