A/N: Here's part two! Part three's going to be the last for this :)

P.s. (I feel like) I did not give justice to 'The Choice' compared to that of the movie...but maybe because this is a book and that was a much more graphic representation of the scene....but nevertheless, I'd recommend to watch the scene first/during/after you read that part for better supplementary ideas what exactly happened because it's way hot hOTTER HOTTEST xd but if you think it's satisfying na sa imagination niyo, then it's fine also. Anyways, enjwoooy!

THE WEDDING.

Bongbong attended another wedding in the hopes of seeing Leni again.

It was his best friend's wedding and the bride was her friend, thus sparking up the possibility that they might at least bump into each other. The ceremony ended and everyone was already eating well but then there was no show from her. He just sat quietly in the table full of girls who were from junior high as they were all classmates back in the day. He kept himself busy by engaging into small talks with his hands busy swallowing the musky whisky down his throat.

He never felt so regretful and frustrated before. He admit to his mistake that sure, he went a little bit overboard. He just want to at least say sorry and see her often, even if nothing happens between them. He wanted to at least be given the chance to properly end whatever they had on a good note.

The moment the newly-dressed bride and groom came in, the surprise he had been waiting for also bestowed upon his sight. Well, she didn't see him because there's a lot of people who were there and she must've probably been blinded by the welcoming claps for the newlyweds.

"Please look at me...please look at me..." hindi na namalayan ni Bongbong na para na pala siyang nag-oorasyon sa kanyang upuan.

Almira, who was just beside him, heard him and spoke, "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't pour you a refill. Care for another glass?"

He felt relieved that she got the wrong idea, didn't become so nosy about it, and creating an avenue to just go with her flow. He needed another glass of drink anyway.

With Leni being the latecomer, the bride pulled her towards Bongbong's table for formal introductions. He cleared his throat and fixated his collar the moment he saw their steps coming over at where they were sitting.

The bride started to give out names, "So these are Honey's friends from high school...Paul, Dixie, Dani, Desiree, Joanne, Ferdinand, well, Bongbong in layman's terms..."

Leni's eyes stopped gazing at each and everyone the moment her orbs and his met.

"Hi," she nonchalantly spoke. She didn't wanna pass on an awkward energy towards the group.

Bongbong felt the need to get up and excuse himself to the bathroom. At every step he makes away from that area, his heart continued to flinch and his hands continued to tremble. Talaga namang naiihi na rin siya dala ng pag-inom niya ng napakadaming alak bago niya nakita si Leni, and even more so, he felt that all of that liquor was worth it.

Napahilamos na lang siya sa lababo ng men's restroom. Paano ko ba siya mapapasakin ulit? Paano ko ba siya mapapapayag sa gusto ko para sa'ming dalawa?

He went out of the restroom and there, she saw Leni that was about to enter the women's space. With her head bowed down, she was going to go straight to business but Bongbong suddenly initiated a random conversation.
