S1:E16: Defeat x and Disgrace
—————————— "i should be asleep right about now. . . ouch -"
M/N pulled away his pricked finger with a slight wince.
He readjusted his arm once more — trying to move his fingers to curl around the fabric of his shirt. All he could feel were twinges of pain, however. Shaking his head softly, he laid his head on the giant tree roots behind him.
A gentle breeze fluttered the leaves above him and basked it in the soft, dim glow of night. The young boy gave a strong shiver, having nothing on his back to block the wind.
He held his removed shirt in one shaky hand and a sewing needle in the other. This should've been an activity saved for the morning, but he had nothing better to do when he couldn't sleep.

this is gonna screw up my sleep schedule, isn't it?
ughh.
With a deep sigh, he continued with his work, sewing Bodoro's badge into his sleeve for safekeeping. The extra badge was to be kept in his pocket as a decoy.
Another shiver shook his body as the cold forced him to speed up the stitching. This, combined with the dark and his limited vision, was a recipe for disaster. M/N felt like a living pin cushion at that point.
His eyes slowly blinked closed, feeling another prick on his finger. He barely had enough energy to hug his shirt close to him as he finally drifted off into sleep.

M/N yawned as he stretched sluggishly.
His arm still felt horrible - but at least he could move it independently. He stretched it to the side slightly, wincing at the sore feeling. That armrest would've been real useful right about now.
