I let out a sigh as I entered the Ink and Paint club, walking backstage. Being a makeup designer for a bunch of toons wasn't exactly how I planned to work.
I opened my station and entered. I didn't like the fact that I had to dress like this as well, I would much rather pants and a shirt, but I guess it could have been worse.
Thankfully, there was only one person that needed their makeup done for a performance today.
And of course that one person is going to make this extremely hard to do. He was my best friend after all.
Jessie Rabbit.
I heard a knock on my door. "Come in!" I called out to them. "Betty Boop? What are you doing here?" I asked. "You said you knew piano... right?" She asked. "Yes, I do, why are you asking?"
"Well, the pianist couldn't make it tonight, so there's nobody to play the piano for Jessie's song." "And we don't have a backup?" "Nope."
I sighed and opened my makeup. "I guess I'll have to do it." I chuckled as I started my own makeup. Betty handed me a box.
"Here's the outfit you need to wear, it looks a bit like yours, but it has gloves and slight changes." She smiled, leaving my room.
I sighed and continued doing my makeup, I didn't want to get any on the dress. Once I finished my makeup, I took my dress off, putting the other one on.
