In this story, nobody will be Gaston. There is nobody else trying to get Ben except Y/n. This is in place because I don't want to write a very very long story for this, and because I can make the ending more romantic.
Y/n doesn't become a beast, but she becomes a demon.
You basically look like a female Alastor from Hazbin Hotel, but with whatever your favorite color is instead of red.
If you don't know what female Alastor looks like, look it up before reading, because that's what you'll look like for a majority of the story. It doesn't have to be that look, as long as you are a demon.
The demon form is pretty much a spaghetti noodle in the sense that they are very tall and thin.
Once upon a time, in a far away land, a young princess lived in a shining castle.
Although she had everything her heart desired, the princess was spoiled, selfish, and unkind.
But then, on one winters night, an old beggar man came to the castle and offered her a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold.
Repulsed by his haggard appearance, the princess sneered at the gift and turned the old man away.
But he warned her not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within.
And when she dismissed him again, the old man's ugliness melted away, to reveal a handsome enchanter.
The princess tried to apologize, but it was too late, for he had seen that there was no love in her heart.
And as punishment, he transformed her into a terrifying demon and placed a powerful spell on the castle, and all who lived there.
Ashamed of her demonic form, the demon concealed herself inside her castle with a magic mirror as her only window to the outside world.
The rose that the old man had offered was truly an enchanted rose, which would bloom until her 21st year.
If she could learn to love another and earn his love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken.
If not, she would be doomed to remain a demon for all time.
As the years pass, she fell into despair and lost all hope, for who could ever learn to love a demon?
