"were going to the philippines."

the words left my mom's mouth.
and believe me, i burst out in happiness.

"WAH! TALAGA? KAYLAN? HOW MANY MONTHS TAYO DUN?!" i excitedly asked, biglang nabuhay.

pano naman, eh ginising ako bigla nila mama at tatay at 3 am! even my little sister was up, her hair was messy and she was hugging her teddy.

"oa mo girl! next week, 1 month tayo dun. matulog ka na, may school ka pa bukas." and with that, they left my room.

i woke up at 7 am to the sound of my alarm clock. naalala ko may flight kami next week, pero pano kung panaginip yun?! no!

i ran to my mom in the kitchen, she was making pancakes, my dad was in the shower and my little sister, sade. was watching frozen on the tv. she was singing her heart out.

"let it doo~ let it doo~ tant hold it fack anymoree~" she sang,

"pwede ka na mag the voice sade" i said, laughing. pano naman kase, bulol-bulol ampota!

"bakit ate? kain ka na may luto na, SADE! MAMAYA NA YAN! KAIN MUNA DITO!" tinawag ni mama si sade

umupo na ako sa table then  started eating my pancakes, syempre kakain muna ako, noh! food is life!

di ako mabubuhay pag walang pagkain, at gusto ko pa mabuhay.

"mommy diba pupunta tayo sa pinas next week? panaginip lang ba yun? wag naman sana!" i said while chewing on my pancakes.

mom looked at me hideously, before handing me a glass of water.

"oo girl! mag impake ka na din bukas, ha." she said before sipping on her coffee,

it was another snowy day here in iowa, ang lamig! im already thinking about what outfit im gonna wear.

"next next week wedding na ng nini mo, diba? after ng school mo, pupunta tayo sa mall para bumile ng dresses." tuloy-tuloy na sabi ni mama, excited na tuloy ako! shopping ofcourse!

after eating, i took a shower, brushed my teeth, and did my skin care routine before getting dressed.

i ended up wearing a long sleeve croptop with a pair of grey sweatpants, i also bought a grey jacket incase i get cold.

i said goodbye to mama,tatay, and sade before leaving the house, when i went out i saw nathalia waiting for me. she's my bestfriend,

"morning!" she gave me a smile and waved.

"good morning, nat" i gave her a smile aswell. naglakad na kami papunta sa school, walking distance lang naman,

after hours that felt like forever, school finally ended. shopping time!

i said goodbye to my friends before walking back to my house, di na ako nagpa sama kase pupunta sila sa bahay ni amelia, eh di ako makakasama kase aalis kami nila mommy eh.

when i went inside my house, mama told me to get dressed kasi aalis na kami, di na ako nag shower kase nag shower naman na ako kanina before going to school.

i wore a black croptop with loose pants and also a varsity jacket, also partnered with my black shoulder bag, i then wore my brown jordans.

i sprayed some perfume on my wrist then on my neck, i also put on some lipgloss and mascara. then i put my hair in a half ponytail.

when i left my room mommy was brushing sade's hair, ang cute naman.

"ate, lets go" tawag sakin ni tatay, tumayo na ako at nilagay ang phone ko sa bag ko.
