"hello po, mr.vascos" pag babati ko sa tatay nila zaven. this was only my second time seeing him.

he looks alot like zaven and zayden! mahahalata mo talaga na may iba syang lahi.

"call me tito, elara" he smiled at me.

i nodded and smiled aswell.

nasa second row ako at katabi ko si zaven at tasha. sa likod namin, si zora at si zayden.

were on our way to pick up valerie daw? she lives close to us aswell.

"hi, elara"

napatingin ako sa likod ko na tawagin ako ni ate zora. "zora! hello!" bumeso ako sakanya.

"how are you?" she smiled at me. she was holding some type of book, probably about medicine.

"great!" i happily said.

i was about to say something else when the door opened. it was a girl around my age. she was wearing the same thing as me!

"oh, who is she?" tinuro ako ng babae habang nakatingin kay zaven. "and her." tinuro naman nya si tasha.

"oh, Valerie, this is elara, the girl im courting. and this is natasha" pag-papaliwanag ni zaven.

"courting?" she repeated zaven's words. looking confused.

"yeah," tumango sya. "can you sit at front? i want to sit next to elara"

valerie nodded slowly before closing the car door. binuksan nya naman yung pinto sa harapan at umupo na. backpack lang dala nya.

"you didn't bring a luggage?" zayden asked.

eh, 5 days kami dun sa palawan eh, bakit ang konti lang ng damit nya?

"oh, im only staying for three days. were going to japan for Christmas so were going early." she said while tying her hair up in a ponytail.

morena sya, her hair was curly pero soft curls lang. almond eyes and a nice nose. she has a mole on her left cheek. if you look at her first glance, you would think na maldita sya. she had that aura.

"look oh"

napatingin ako kay zaven na sinandal and ulo nya sa balikat ko. nilapit nya ang phone nya sakin.

"ano yan?" i asked,

"the things were gonna do in palawan" he said.

he gave me the phone before reaching for my left hand and played with it.

i looked closer to see the list.

-island hopping
-waterpark
-looking for souvenirs
-scuba diving

"on the fifth day, i have a surprise for you." dugtong nya.

"whats that?" tanong ko.

"di na suprise pag sinabi ko sayo, ano?" sabi nya bago kuwain ang cellphone nya.

sumimangot ako at sinandal and ulo ko sa ulo nya. "im sleepy" sabi ko.

"ako din, tulog muna tayo" aya nya.

tumango ako at pinikit na ang mga mata.

"huy! gumising na kayong dalawa!"

binuklat ko ang mata ko at nakita si tasha. pag tingin ko sa likod nya, nakita ko na yung airport. andito na pala kami! parang kaka pikit ko lang!

"tulog pa more! pati pag tulog, kaylangan na din ng partner?! di ako na inform!" sigaw nya bago pumunta sa likod ng kotse. probably going to get her bag.
