hinatid na ako pauwi ni zaven. itinanong pa nga nila mama kung kumain na kami.
"kumain na kayo?" tanong muli ni mama. paulit-ulit na!
"uh, yes po tita." sagot ni zaven.
"sge sge, papasok na ako ha? sunod ka nalang elara" kinindatan pa ako ni mama. halatang nang-aasar.
tumango nalang ako at pumasok na sya.
"uwi ka na?" i asked after a lonh silence.
"oo, 9 PM na din, e" tumingin sya sa relo nya.
"sge, ingat ka" ngumiti ako sakanya.
he scratched the back of his head. "may ibibigay... pa ako sayo" he said and smiled shyly.
my brows furrowed. curious what he was going to give me. "ano yun?" i asked.
he ran towards his car. kala ko aalis na sya kasi nahihiya na sya pero tumakbo ulit papunta sakin.
he handed me a small black box. I looked at him confused. ano to?
"ano to?" tanong ko sakanya.
"buksan mo para malaman mo..." hindi na sya makatingin sakin.
mas naging curious tuloy ako!
i opened the box and it revealed a silver infinity ring. i looked at it in awe.
"s-sakin to?" i looked at him.
"kanino pa ba?" he chuckled. "tignan mo yung sulat sa loob."
tinignan ko yung loob ng sing-sing.
'forever mine.'
