i drove to the nearest flower shop from my house and picked up my reserved flowers.
then, i drove to the cemetery.
today was november 1st, araw nang patay.
so, i visited zaven. the love of my life.
it has been 10 years ever since i met zaven. im a lawyer now. i work at the top firm of the Philippines.
i also traveled to all his dre destinations. like, Switzerland, Italy, France and many more.
"hello?" inipit ko ang cellphone ko sa aking tenga at balikat.
"elara, hello. si tita to...nasa cementerio ka na ba? pasensya na at di ka namin naisama kaninang umaga..akala kasi namin busy ka.." its was tita!
"oh, tita its alright? and, im on my way na. ill drop by the house later po"
she agreed and we ended the call.
when i arrived at the cemetery, i picked up the flowers, candles, and a blanket.
then, i went to his burial.
"hi, love" i smiled. "how are you, huh? are you doing good up there?"
i put the flowers down and also lit up the candles.
"how am i doing?" i chuckled. "well, im doing well. i did it. im a lawyer na. and at the same time, i have a small business"
i talked to the sky more before i packed up. it looked like it was going to rain.
"ill see you soon my love." i kissed my fingers and touched his tombstone.
