"what are we baking today?" tanong ni zaven.

niyaya ko kasi syang mag bake kase wala kaming magawa.

"lets bake cookies! tapos, we can watch a movie in my bed while eating snacks!" excited kong sinabi.

char char lang yun! gusto ko lang talaga sya iyakap! bango kase, e!

"alright, lets look up a recipe" sabi nya at ngumiti saakin.

umakyat muna ako para kunin ang ipad ko. dun nalang kami mag hahanap ng recipe!

pagkababa ko. nakita ko si zaven na nag c-cellphone. "whats that?" i asked when i was already beside him.

"gawin natin to?" he showed me his phone.

it was a TikTok video. it was a couple dancing and swaying theire hips to the beat of the music. i think the song was Spanish?

theire faces where covered with flour. it was a funny and sweet video because they got caught by the girl's mom.

tumawa ako "sge." tumango pa ako.

"nasan yung flour nyo?" he asked while looking around trying to find it.

"ewan ko din eh," malakas akong tumawa. e, di ko naman talaga alam!

"ito na po, madam" nahanap na nya yung container ng flour at nilagay sa counter top. "lets start, patingin nung recipe, love?" lumapit sya sakin at tinignan ang tablet ko.

"wait lang! nag hahanap pa ako." sabi ko naman.

nag search nalang ako sa YouTube nang madali na recipe. after a while naka hanap na din ako.

"here!" nilapit ko yung tablet kay zaven na pinapapak na yung chocolate chips! "hoy! mag tira ka for the cookies!"

"oo na, oo na, akin na yung recipe" inagaw nya yung tablet sa kamay ko.

habang pinapanood nya yung video, tinali ko na yung buhok ko. nakita kong naka tingin sakin so zaven "what?" i asked when i was done.

"talian mo din ako!" he walked towards me like a little kid while giving me a wide smile.

tumawa ako at tumango, umakyat muna ako sa quarto para kumuha ng isa pang tali.

bumaba naman ako kaagad at nakita si zaven na naka upo sa counter top, iniintay ako. kinukuyakoy pa ang paa!

"di kita maaabot, sira" tumawa ako habang nasa harapan nya.

"oh" bumaba sya sa counter top at niyakap ako. "go na."

"s-sge" i was shocked by his sudden move. "ayan na" i said when i was done.

"wait lang" he tightened his hug and burried his face on my neck. "what's your perfume?" he asked,

i chuckled. "why are you asking that?"

"so it feels like your still here when you leave" he whispered. "so whats your perfume?" he asked again.

"champagne petals...victoria secret."
i said, "tapos ikaw? ano pabango mo? bango mo din, e!"

"i can give you a whole bottle tomorrow" tumawa sya at tinignan ako.

"may klase ka tomorrow, ah?" naalala ko bigla.

"ill stop by here, dont worry"

"okay, tapos lalagay mo yung hands mo sa waist ko tapos ako lalagay ko sa balikat mo"

were right now practicing the dance. our face covered with flour at 4 AM.

"okay, lets go!" nilagay na nya yung timer.

and 3..2..1.

nung nag start na yung music, nilagay ko ang mga kamay ko sa balikat nya. sya naman, nilagay sa beywang ko. our lips inches away.

and when the beat started, we swayed our hips. me and zaven where laughing so hard because of what we were doing. he held my hand and twirled me three times before wraping his arms arround me and swayed as we hugged.

before the music ended, he planted a kiss on my forehead.

i ran towards the phone to see the video. we looked so cute! "send mo sakin to ha?" i told zaven while watching the video. cellphone nya kaso ginamit namin.

"yes, madam." tumawa sya. "our cookies are ready"

napatingin ako sa oven where the cookies where. luto na!

"set up ko na yung bed ko sa taas!" pag-paalam ko at umakyat na sa quarto ko.

nilabas ko yung laptop ko at inopen yung netflix account ko. nilagay ko yung maliit na table ni tasha sa bed para dun ipatong yung laptop.

kumuha na din ako ng extra blanket at pillows galing sa stock room para kay zaven. tinaasan ko yung temperature nung aircon para di sya mainitan.

nung naayos ko na ang lahat, bumaba na ako para maka-akyat na kami ni zaven.

"lets go upstairs na?" tanong ko kay zaven na nag huhugas ng mga ginamit namin kanina.

"una ka na, ill just finish washing the dishes" he smiled at me.

tumango nalang ako at dinala na yung plate ng cookies sa taas. nilagay ko yung sa kama at pinicturan sya kasama yung laptop screen.

yung nilagay kong caption ay tatlong cloud emoji's lang. a few moments later bumukas na yung pinto.

"tara na!" i excitedly sat on the bed and patted the space beside me.
