The man held me in place. A chill went up my spine as I felt a cold metal press against my back.

I was pushed into a room and I collapsed on the floor.

My heart was racing. I was terrified.

He held me to the ground and I couldn't move.

"Please let me go." I whimpered.

"Shut up bitch!" The man yelled in an arrogant tone. His voice had a slight rasp.

He tied my hands together and placed a blindfold around my eyes.

"W-What do you want?" I sobbed.

He yanked my hair and pulled me up from the floor.

"Shut the fuck up!" I felt a stinging sensation on my cheek. This fucker slapped me!

Then I felt something cover my mouth. He taped my mouth shut.

He pushed me forward and I heard a door open.

"Walk, bitch." He ordered and I took a step forward.

"Look at you, so defenseless and pathetic. I have you at my mercy. I could do anything I want to you." He whispered in my ear.

My back hit a wooden board. Oh no!This can't be happening. Please tell me he's not putting me in a cabinet. I didn't like tight spaces.

"If you know what's good for you, you'll pack up and leave this fucking town. If not, the consequences will be severe. It could cost you your life. This is your first and final warning."

His words left me startled. I was frightened for my life. I was beyond terrified!

Then I heard the door close and footsteps left the room.

My breathing quickened and I slid to the floor. Sweat trickled down my palms as I sobbed. I tried to cry for help but my mouth was muffled.

Someone, please help me. Please!

Alex! I wanted him to save me. I wanted him here with me. I was so scared.

I tried to calm my nerves by taking a few deep breaths.

Then I turned around and kicked against the door but it didn't budge. But I kept trying.

When I got tired I stopped and closed my eyes for a bit.

I don't know how long I was lying there when I decided to try again. I kicked the door in hopes of someone finding me.

I heard footsteps enter the room.

"Someone is in here." I heard a feminine voice say.

Some seconds later the door to the cabinet opened.

"It's Annie!" Damien gasped.

They helped me out of the cabinet,  undid the restraints on my wrists, and  removed the blindfold and the duct tape.

"Are you okay? Were you hurt?" He asked as they helped me sit down in a chair. I took a few deep breaths and closed my eyes for a few seconds.

"I'm not hurt but I'm scared. Someone was in here. It was a man. He locked me in the cabinet and threatened me."

"Did you see his face?" Damien asked.

"No I didn't."

"There was a power outage in the building. They haven't determined the cause of it." Mai explained and I nodded. She's one of the doctors I spoke to sometimes and had lunch with. She's nice.
