I was at the tennis court on the cruise ship thinking about the invitation.

Flashback...

Ryuzaki-sensei called all the regulars and I to her office. She told us that the regulars were playing tennis on a cruise. "A magnate called Sakurafubuki Hikomaro loves tennis. He requested that we play an exhibition match as a main event...at the party on the ship," she said. She turned to me. "You will be going with them as manager," she said. "Ok," I said.

Everyone was excited. "Great, it's the first time for you too isn't it kiddo?" Kikumaru asked Echizen. Echizen said that he has been on one before. "What about you Asada-sempai?" Momoshiro asked. "I have been on a cruise twice. Once was to have fun while the other time was to help my friend chaperone the smaller children," I said. Kunimitsu said that we should accept the invitation with gratitude.

End of flashback...

Here is the now. It seemed too good to be true.

I was at the tennis court watching the game from the bench. There was a doubles game going on. It was Kaidoh and Oishi vs. Kawamura and Inui. They played a good game. Everyone seemed to enjoy the match. Now, It was Momoshiro and Echizen vs. Fuji and Kikumaru. As I expected, Fuji and Kikumaru won. I stood up and walked to my room.

It was dinner time. I wore a violet dress and kept my hair down. I applied a small amount of makeup so that I look natural. I wore the ring. I stood up and walked out of my room to see Kunimitsu at the end of the hall. He offered me his arm and I accepted it. I saw a few of the regulars blush. I giggled a bit at their reaction.

Kunimitsu pulled my seat back for me. We thanked the owner of the cruise for the invitation. The owner was being too kind to us. Each team member of our opponent introduced themselves. After dinner, I stayed with Kunimitsu and Oishi as they talked about the exhibition match.

The owner gave us the list of the line up of the matches. The captains would end the match. The next thing that the owner said made me feel uneasy. "I hope you guys didn't think you can just have a regular match after being invited to a gorgeous ship like this did you?" he said. He told us that We need to lose tomorrow's matches on purpose. "What?" I said. There was a gamble that was happening in the ship.

Many people were betting us to win the match. "It means if we lose, you will come into a lot of money as the house. That's why you want us to lose on purpose," Kunimitsu said. "You understand perfectly. That's why you're Seigaku's captain," the owner said. Kunimitsu stood up. "We refuse. Let's go, Oishi, Miyu," he said. Kunimitsu pulled me up and guided me out.

We were about the walk out the door when the chef came out and blocked our path holding a knife and a roasted duck. He stabbed the duck in front of us. I got really scared. Kunimitsu stepped in front of me. I could feel my heart beating really fast in fear. Kunimitsu wrapped his arm around my waits and quickly led me to our rooms.

We made it to our rooms and told everyone about our situation. Everyone agreed that they would play the match as they should play. Kunimitsu led me to my room for bed. I quickly washed and changed into my pajamas. I went under the cover. Kunimitsu kissed my forehead and turned my lamp off. "Goodnight," I said. "Goodnight," he said and slept.

{I hope everything will be ok tomorrow.}

Next day...

Doubles was first. Kaidoh and Momoshiro surprisingly were working together very well. They weren't fighting this time. They won their match. Oishi and Kikumaru were next in the line up and won their match. Kawamura and Inui won their match. We were back in the waiting room. I stood next to Kunimitsu. He had his arm wrapped around my waist. Things were getting worse.

The chef came in with two crew members with his knife out. "The unnecessary planning ends right here. Fuji, Tezuka, Echizen, come out," he said. I got really scared. I looked up at Kunimitsu. He kissed me on the forehead. "Be careful," I whispered. He gave me a nod and left the room. I went to sit down and felt a tear sliding off my face. "Don't worry. He will be fine," Oishi assured me. I nodded my head an waited for him to return.

It has been a while now. Oishi passed water to Momoshiro and I. I took a small sip. "We have to do something to escape," Oishi said. Inui notice something about the chef. I looked at the chef and saw that he looked a bit sea sick. Inui went into his bag and gave his juice to the chef. We all managed to escape at that point.

We Inui made the conclusion that everything about the ship was fake. I had my suspicions as well. Momoshiro said that he would inform Kunimitsu about their escape. I decided to go with him. We ran to the tennis court. Momoshiro gave a signal to tell Kunimitsu and the others that we were ok. Now they could go all out. Fuji showed his full potential. Kunimitsu as well. Echizen would go against his brother.

During Echizen's match, the regulars and the owner's team were captured and were now at gunpoint. Echizen and his brother lob the ball at the captors and escaped. I decided to run to get to Kunimitsu. I was running through the halls. I heard an explosion on the ship. {Did something really exploded?} I started to panic a bit and ran faster. I felt the ship shake. I saw Kunimitsu with Fuji. "Kunimitsu!" I yelled out. I ran to him and he embraced me. The ship was shaking. "Everyone! Abandon ship," he yelled out.

We ran to get into a lifeboat. The regulars and I went inside and onto the water. Echizen was missing. We heard something. It was Echizen and his brother. Echizen lost grip and fell into the water. I was glad that he was alright. We pulled him inside the boat.

Some things were too good to be true.
