*The Next Day*

Amethyst's POV:

I woke up around 8:20 ish. I got up out of bed to take a shower and get dressed. I changed into black joggers and a grey hoodie. I went downstairs to feed Muffin and blueberry. After blueberry was done eating I clipped her leash on to her collar and we headed out the door. I locked up our house and we started walking to the coffee shop. It's a lovely day for a walk. As we got closer to the coffee shop I saw Arny with an adorable dog with him. "Good morning," Arny said cheerfully. "Good morning. Who is this?" I said bending down to pet an adorable little Red Boston dog. "His name is Apollo. Who is this?" He asked. "Apollo is so cute! Her name is Blueberry," I said smiling fondly. Arny bent down to pet Blueberry. She immediately flopped down on her side wanting belly scratches. We spent a few minutes petting Apollo and Bluebery before heading off on our walk. "How long have you lived in this town?" Asked Arny as we were walking. "Pretty much my whole life. How long have you?" I asked. "I just moved here to be closer to my friends," he said. "How far away from your friends are you?" I asked. "About a block away. We should all meet up sometime," Arny said. "Sounds like it could be fun," I said nervously knowing my social anxiety could never. We walked around town a little bit longer before heading back home. It started to lightly rain. And then it poured. "We should go to my house it's closer!" He yelled over the rain. I shook my head and we started sprinting to his house. We both retreated to his porch for cover. Arny opened up the door for us. We were already soaked from the rain. Arny and I unclipped Apollo's and Blueberries leash to let them play together. Arny's house is pretty cozy. The walls are painted all shades of soothing grey. "What do you think?" Arny asked. "I really like your house its so pretty," I said. I walked over to his front door and opened it up. "Where on Earth are you going? It's still pouring outside," Arny said questioning me. I smirked at his question as I stepped outside. I ran out on to the sidewalk with Arny chasing after me. "What are you doing!? It's pouring out here!" He yelled over the pouring rain that was absolutely soaking us to our cores. I started dancing. Letting stress and nerves drain from my body. "We got wet running here so why not dance in the rain?" I said. Arny shrugged his shoulders with a confused but happy smirk on his face. We both danced in the rain like there was no tomorrow. After a few minutes of dancing we started to get closer to each other. His arms softly wrapped around my waist. My arms wrapped around his neck. We slow danced in the pouring rain getting absolutely drenched. I wish I could've stayed in that moment for the rest of time.
