Amethyst's POV:

I woke up the next morning still in Arny's arms. My head was resting on his chest and his head rested on my shoulder. Memories of yesterday soon came flooding into my mind. Meeting Pete and Danny, fresh snow, the kiss, and then the power going out. "Wait the kiss?! Oh God we kissed!" I thought slightly freaking out. But then the sensation of his lips on mine came back to me. He was so gentle but, yet so passionate. I craved his affection, no I need his love. I looked over at him. He was resting so peacefully. "Love staring at me while I rest is pretty creepy," he said with a deep raspy morning voice. I jumped a little not expecting to hear his voice. He smiled and kissed my forehead. I blushed looking away from him. "Do we have anything planned for today love?" He asked. "Not that I know of," I said questioning myself, to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything. "Want to meet the boys for breakfast at the coffee shop?" I asked. "Sure I'll text them," he said pulling out his phone while still cuddling me. "Alright I'm gonna start getting ready," I said trying to escape his grasp. He kissed my forehead one more time before releasing me. I went upstairs to go take a shower. After I was finished I went back downstairs to wait for Arny to get ready. I was sitting on the couch watching YouTube when I heard Arny shout, "Hey can you grab me a towel?" I ran upstairs and grabbed a towel from the closet in the hallway. I walked towards the bathroom and knocked on the door. Arny stuck his hand out to grab the towel but, I pulled the towel further away from him every time he tried to retrieve it. "Love, give me the towel please," he said in a deeper voice. Out of fear, I immediately handed him the towel. After he closed the bathroom door I headed back downstairs. A little while later Arny came downstairs and sat next to me. We had a little time to kill so we watched a few videos. We lost track of time. Arny looked at his phone. "Get up! We gotta go!" He said jumping up from the couch. I saw the time a ran to my closet to grab a winter jacket. We both put on our jackets and sprinted out the door. We started running towards the coffee shop until I started to slip on the icy pavement. My legs slid out from under me and I began to fall. I tightly closed my eyes waiting for the impact. A few seconds later nothing had happened, so I opened my eyes. Arny was an inch away from my face. He looked so worried. Silence filled the air as we stared into each other's eyes. The only thing I could feel were his arms wrapped around me and his warm breath on my face. His face got closer to mine until our lips connected. I could feel all the tension release as I melted into the kiss. In that moment I knew the one person I was meant to be with was Arny. He felt like home. The moment felt like it had ended to soon. The second our lips broke apart we had to go. We ran towards the coffee shop that was just around the corner.
