Amethyst's POV:

I curled up into a ball crying on the ground. Arny sat down next to me and wrapped his arms around me. "It's ok love. Your safe here with me," he whispered softly. His warm embrace had already started to comfort me. I have never felt so loved and comforted, just from a hug in my life. I hugged him for a few minutes more before leaving his arms to grab our pizza. I sat back down on the floor next to Arny resting my head on his shoulder. We ate the pizza in comfortable silence. A few minutes later Arny broke the silence saying in a worried voice "I forgot, Apollo needs to be fed." "I can come with you back to your house to feed him," I said. "You don't have to," he said. "I want to. After all it's dark outside so we should use the buddy system," I said getting up. Arny got up and we got our coats on and, headed out the door towards his house. I started to shiver again since it had dropped another 10 degrees since I had been outside earlier. Arny grabbed my hand to try and warm me up. A few minutes later we got to his house. As soon as we entered Apollo ran up to greet us. He looked so happy to see us. Arny fed Apollo and then he went upstairs to grab and extra pair of clothes for our sleepover. After he came back downstairs we left his house, and walked back to my house with his hand in mine to "keep me warm". After we got to my house, I lit my fireplace and we sat in front of it to warm up. A few minutes later I looked up and sprinted towards the nearest window. Arny jumped up startled. "Is something wrong love?," he asked with worry in his voice. "Arny come here! You have to see this!" I said looking at Arny with pure joy. He walked over to the window and took a peek. It had started snowing. The snowflakes were softly falling to the ground covering everything in white powder. I went over to my closet to grab two winter coats. I put on a coat and walked over to the door. "Are you going to join me?" I asked tossing the other jacket to Arny. I saw his eyes light up at the idea. He put his jacket on and sprinted to the door. We went outside to see the fluffy white powder. The snowflakes landed everywhere on my body erupting butterflies in my stomach. I smiled looking around at our new winter wonderland. I looked over at Arny. He had an adorable smile on his face as he tried to catch snowflakes on his tongue. His hair was covered in fresh snowflakes. I blushed at the sight of him. He looked at me and took a few steps closer to me. He stuck his hand out and asked "May I have this dance?" "Of course kind sir," I replied in a posh accent. I took his hand and we started to slow dance. My arms were around his neck while his were on my waist. Just his touch alone made me blush. We slow danced for a few minutes until his face started to get closer to mine. "Love, you look so adorable right now," he said staring deep into my eyes. I looked away blushing. He let out a soft laugh. With one hand he lifted up my chin forcing me to make eye contact. "God I really want to kiss you right now," he said in a deeper voice. After he said that it set off butterflies throughout my body. "Can I kiss you love?" He asked in a soft voice, just inches away from my face. I lightly shook my head. "Use your words love," he said softly. "Yes," you said nervously. He got closer to you until your lips finally connected. The kiss was soft but filled with passion. You had been waiting so long for this moment. It was so much better than anything you had ever read, in any of your romance novels. I wish I could stay in this moment forever.
