Amethyst's POV:

When we walked into the coffee shop we saw Danny and Pete waiting for us in a booth. "Hey guys," Arny said with a smile. "Hi" said Pete in a cheerful tone. "Morning," Danny said looking up from his phone groggily. Arny got up to grab breakfast. When he was out of sight Pete asked "Did you and Arny walk here together?" "Yes, we spent the night at my house." I said not thinking anything of it. Pete smirked and elbowed Danny. Danny looked up and gave Pete a weird look and then smirked. A minute later Arny came back with a bag and two drinks. He handed me one of the drinks. I looked at the label. "How did you remember my order?" I asked blushing. "How could I not remember how basic your order is." He said smirking. "So what did you guys do last night?" Danny asked smirking at Arny and I. I immediately looked away blushing hoping Arny wouldn't say a thing. "We ordered pizza and binged Adventure Time the whole time." He said casually. I was relieved that he didn't say anything but also kind of disappointed that he didn't think much of last night. Arny reached into the bag he got and pulled out two muffins. He handed a chocolate chip muffin to me and started eating his banana nut muffin. I thanked him and then set it down. I stared at the muffin for a second, too anxious to eat. I looked out the icy window to see how much snow was left. "Hello? Amethyst?" I zoned back in to hear Arny calling me.  "Sorry what?" I asked looking at him. "Is something wrong? You haven't eaten your muffin or drank any of your coffee." He asked with worry in his voice. "Yeah, everything's alright. I'm just not hungry at the moment." As soon as I said that my stomach growled giving me away. The three of them instantly looked at at me. They all looked so disappointed. "Love I know you're lying. So please be quiet and eat your muffin." Arny said with a concerned but irritated tone. I looked away from Arny to see if Pete and Danny would let me be. But they both looked just as irritated as Arny. I picked up the muffin and slowly took a bite. As soon as I did, the conversation went back to normal and all the attention on me disappeared. I looked back at the window and zoned out. A few minutes later I zoned back in to Arny grabbing my hand. I looked at him to see he was already staring at me. I blushed and looked away. Arny gave my hand a little squeeze before continuing his conversation. Soon everyone had to leave even Arny. When he tried to let go of my hand I held on to it for another second before letting him go. Once everyone was out of sight I zoned out thinking about Arny. My life would be content  if I could spend all of my days with that pretty, curly haired boy. I covered my face forgetting that I was in public and everyone could see how red I was getting. A few minutes later I looked at the time and decided to head home.
