Arny's POV:

I've been texting and calling Amethyst all morning but I haven't heard anything from her. I wonder if she's busy. But she always responds pretty quickly after I message her so something had to be up. I texted Pete and Danny to see if they had seen or heard anything from her. Neither of them had heard from her. I walked over to the coffee shop to see if she had fallen asleep there. When I walked in to the coffee shop I checked her usual table. Empty. I looked around the room. She wasn't there. I asked one of the baristas if she had been there this morning. The barista hadn't even seen her today. Amethyst is a coffee addict she couldn't go a day without it, I thought.  I have to find her now! Something is clearly wrong! I ran as fast as I could to her house. I walked on to her porch to see the lights were still on from last night. I nervously knocked on the door. No response. I knocked again. No response. I gripped the icy door handle waiting an extra second, hoping she was just about to open the door. I slowly turned the door handle. It opened quite easily, too easily. The door slowly opened. "Oh shit," I whispered under my breathe hoping this was a prank. She always locks her doors, always. I slowly opened the door, preparing myself for the worst. As soon as I walked in I felt a cold breeze hit my face. It felt so cold in her once warm and cozy home. "She is always cold there's no way she could have done this herself," I thought. I slowly started walking around her main level. I walked through her living room, and her dining room with no clues as to where she could be. Until I walked in to her kitchen. The room felt colder than the others. I looked over at her sliding glass door. It was left party open. I assumed that was why the house was so cold. I went to close it but something stopped me. A wave of panic rushed through me as I ripped the door open enough to check outside. As soon as I stepped outside I stopped dead in my tracks.
