Arny's POV:
There she was. Sitting stone cold in her patio chair slightly buried in the snow. I raced over to her and brushed off as much snow as I could. Then I grabbed her wrist to check her pulse. It took me a moment to find it because it was so weak. I carefully set her arm back down and then scooped her up in to my arms. Her body was so cold and pale. I raced inside to try and find something warm to cover her with. The only thing that I could find was an old blanket sitting next to a vent. It felt somewhat warm so I wrapped her whole body in it. She looked like a soft little cocoon. After that I carried her out to my car. I buckled her in and then turned up the heat on full blast. I called Danny freaking out hoping he would know what to do. Danny picked up within seconds. "Hey what's-" he tried to say but Arny cut him off. "Dude I just found her. She's in really bad condition and I don't know what to do man!" He said frantically scanning Amethyst for any sign of life. "Okay okay man. How bad are we talking? Where are you? Is she injured?" Danny said sprinting to grab his coat and keys. "Uh pretty bad. I found her outside on her back porch covered in snow. She must have fallen asleep outside. Her house was really cold so I don't think we can stay there. Uh I could take her to my house I guess?" I said backing out of Amethyst's drive way. "Okay be there soon man. And remember to breathe she's going to be okay." Danny said hanging up. We were almost at my house when I saw her start to stir. Her whole body started shivering. "Just two more minutes love. And then we'll get you all warmed up." I said out loud hoping she heard me. As soon as I pulled into my driveway I ran up to my door to unlock it. Then I ran back to my car to carry Amethyst inside. As I was carrying her inside I felt her bury her head in to my hoodie. I carried her up the stairs to my room since I assumed it would be the warmest place for her. I tucked her under my covers and then went to grab a few heaters. By the time I came back I found her with her head completely under the covers. I smiled knowing that she would be okay.
