Coffee Shop Girl

Part 7

Amethyst's POV:

I woke up and felt two arms wrapped around my waist and torso. I felt secure and warm, but also confused on who would cuddle me? I looked up to see Arny. He looked so peaceful sleeping. "I hope he doesn't think it's weird that we fell asleep cuddling," I anxiously thought. I started wiggling to try to get out of Arny's arms trying not to wake him up. "Stay," he said with a deep morning voice and gripping harder on to me. I blushed at how adorable and raspy his voice was. I relaxed back into the same position I was in. A little bit later of cuddling we both got up to start the day. While Arny got in the shower I went down to his kitchen to make breakfast and feed Blueberry and Apollo. I started looking through his fridge and cupboards for something to make. But his cupboards were bare so I settled with eggs and pancakes. There was just enough mix to make four pancakes. I cracked the eggs and added all the ingredients for the pancakes. Then I started cooking them. Just as I was about to flip the pancakes I felt a warm breath on the side of my neck. I looked up to see Arny breathing down my neck. I blushed looking back down to see I had failed to flip the pancake correctly. "Love what are you making?" He asked in a groggy morning voice. "Eggs and pancakes," I replied. "Thank you for breakfast love. But you are the worst pancake flipper I have ever seen," Arny said slightly chuckling. He stole the spatula from my hand and flipped the rest of the pancakes. "Arny I could have done that!" I said shocked and a little irritated. "Sure you could have love," Arny said in a cocky tone. "I could have!" I said snatching the spatula out of his hand to plate the pancakes.  I set the pancakes down on the table and we sat down to eat. After we ate I said goodbye to Arny and went home with Blueberry. When I got home I realized I was still wearing Arny's hoodie. It was warm and still smelled like him from cuddling last night. I don't ever want to take it off.
