I woke up to an empty bed after a night of tears, pain, cuddles, and kisses. I was partly grateful though, considering the privacy and space Loid gave me was healthy. I wake up, walk to the bathroom to get my shit sorted, and look presentable for the following day.

After my much-wanted warm bath, I go off into the kitchen, thinking of getting something along the way if I find my kitchen empty.

To my surprise, I find a generous amount of food already well kept on the counter, with a small note attached to one of the plates.

Work called so I had to leave

Make sure you eat

I smile at the note, butterflies filling my heart. I stick the note to the fridge, keeping it as a safe souvenir. I eat until the plates are spick and span and grab my belongings before leaving for work.

On reaching there I am met with a not-so-happy-looking Miwa.

"Good morning Ms. Y/n, how nice of you to check up on the work I told you to, which wasn't so important at all

"I am so sorry Miwa, something really bad came up last night so I couldn't check it"

"It's fine, I guess I am sorry in a way to ruin your dick appointment"

I scoff, "Tell me my-"

"Meeting at 2, then at 5, make sure you go through the documents and the mails on your desk, and you have lunch at 3"

"Thank you" I mumble.

"Oh, by the way, six red parcels are sitting at the reception for you to deliver them personally to the shipping center"

"Again?!"

"Yes again, there are more this time surprisingly"

I mumble something incoherent and a small thanks before getting back to work.

She smiles and walks out the door, as I continue to complete my tasks and duties for the day.

I partially hate Hatake for getting me included in this business, for lying to me this whole time, but some part of me still feels a little bad that he had to have this burden on his shoulders alone.

Around noon, my office door opens up, I continue reading the document not taking my eyes off it, thinking it was Miwa, due to her habit of not knocking and walking in.

Their throat clears, which lifts my head, only to wish I never lifted it.

"Go away Hatake, of all the people I don't wish to see you right now"

"Please Y/n, this is serious, act mature for once in your life"

"Leave Hatake! after what you did and said, I don't wish to talk to you at all"

He sighs loudly rubbing his hand on his nape. "I am sorry, I didn't mean anything I said or did yesterday and today, maybe except punching him" He mumbles out the last few words making me furrow my eyebrows at him.
