CHAPTER 18

It was about 3 in the morning and Loid and I were laying in bed. He was leaving kisses on my neck and shoulder and I was playing with his hand. 

"Hey, Loid?"

"Yes, baby?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure go ahead"

"You never told me anything about your family you know"

His mouth stops moving and he picks his head up from my neck. I was a little wary about asking him anything family-related considering he hasn't told me a word. But somehow I feel like I  was trespassing his walls. 

"I mean you don't need to tell me if you don't want to" I say, reminding him I wasn't forcing him.

He was still very quiet. I could hear the incests creaking outside and Loid's breath getting a little heavy. 

"When I was about 4, the war broke out. My father was away at war and my mother was bedridden, One night when we were peacefully asleep, a bomb struck my neighborhood and destroyed our house and everything. I somehow managed to survive, but I lost everything that day. And then-"

He abruptly stopped talking and his eyes began to widen a little. "And?"

"And I um got some support from the government and took up medicine. Since I got relocated I never met my father" He finishes. 

I keep staring at Loid. I never knew that was the baggage on his shoulders. I knew I didn't know him but I never expected this. Even though I lack emotion from both my parents, I was very grateful to get the least necessity from them. 

Loid suffered and lost both his parents at such a young age made my heart wretch in pain.

"Oh Loid, you don't deserve anything bad happening to you, if anything you deserve the world. I am really grateful you opened up to me. Is there anything I can do for you love?"

He smiles slightly and rubs the pad of his thumb under my eye. "I mean you can let me fuck you again" he says half serious and half-jokingly. Not that I think it's a joke anyways. 

I slap his chest jokingly and he laughs looping me in his arms and tickling me.

"We should go to sleep" I suggest.

"Yeah, we have a big day tomorrow"

"Goodnight Loid"

"Goodnight Y/n"

I wake up to soft kisses all over my face. I smile slightly and loop my arms over his neck pulling him closer. "Good morning Y/n"

"Good morning Loid"

"Ready for today?"

"No"

"Well get up we have a long day today"

"Can't we just sleep in all day and eat pizza and have hot sex later?"

"We can but later, we are still at your father's house"

I cringe slightly and get up as Loid ruffles my already messy hair. He leaves a big fat kiss on my cheek as leaves to get ready. I take 2 minutes to gather myself up and walk into the bathroom joined with the bedroom. 

Loid is already in the shower and I quickly brush my teeth and join him in there as well. Loid grabs the bar of soap and lathers it all over my back and chest. I reciprocate the same actions on him tiptoeing and leaving a kiss on his lips.
