"Seriously what were you thinking Y/n? Something really bad could've happened to you. Do you even realize the trouble you've caused? What were you even doing this late at night? Where were you?"

"I'm sorry" I whisper looking down at the hands that are rested on my lap.

I never wanted things to turn out like this. I never meant to cause trouble. I never meant to be a burden. Heaven knows how hard I've tried.

How hard I've tried to be happy, to make the people around me happy, for once be the reason for someone's smile. Yet in the end, I've disappointed myself and others too.

I hear Hatake sigh as he stops his car at the side of the road. Hardly any lights letting the place. I feel Hatake unfasten my seatbelt and pull me into his lap. I snuggle into the warmth of his neck as he leaves small kisses on my forehead rubbing my back slowly. I feel tears prick my eyes, threatening to fall. Hatake whispers sweet stuff into my ears, mostly apologizing and praising me. It feels nice. When you have someone to appreciate you. Loves you. When you ever feel lonely and lost. Hatake might have not always been a great guy but there are times like these I wish could've lasted forever.

"You are not a burden Y/n, I just care about you too much, that's why I worry about you all the time"

"It's okay Hatake, can you just take me home please"

I sit back in my seat buckling myself up as I look outside the window. I think about Loid, what is it that I said that set him off? In all honesty, though I didn't think it was my fault. Maybe I just need sleep or perhaps food.

"Thank you" I thank Hatake who made hot good soup for me. I ended up going with him to his house.

I don't think this is gonna end well.

"Your welcome Y/n. Also, there is something I've been meaning to ask you"

I look at him as a sign to continue.

"Well you see Y/n, I heard my dad and your father speaking together in his office the other day, they seem very determined to get the both of us married"

I stop eating my soup midway. I stare at Hatake with an expression, of emotion, I couldn't figure out. Maybe it's because I am drained.

"They aren't gonna stop are they?" I ask with a tired sigh.

"Yeah, but there is also something important I heard"

"What is it? Please do not tell me it's baby-making" I say with a scoff.

"W-what no" I swear I could see a pink hue on his cheeks.

"Then what?"

"They said that they are gonna divide your company shares with me"

I knew it. I knew they would do this. Take away from me what I've built with my blood, sweat, and tears. They want to rob me of everything.

I just wonder how disappointed she'd be.

"80% you and 20% me-" he continues leaving me in shock.

"Wait what?" just to confirm whether what I heard was right or wrong.

"Yeah they agreed to keep you in the majority loop and power but had to give me a small portion you know, customs"

I am beyond shocked. I never in a zillion years though, that they'd be so generous.

I put my spoon back into my bowl, I look at Hatake only to find him looking back at me with a small handsome smile. I run for the table straight into Hatake's arms jumping on him and pulling him into a big hug.

I wrap my arms around his neck, with my legs around his waist. I leave kisses all over his face muttering thank you after each kiss. Finally, I grab his jaw pulling him forward smashing my lips onto his. He returns the kiss pushing me against the wall, pushing his tongue in my mouth.

"Wait wait wait Hatake, this is wrong I am very very sorry I didn't mean to-"

"It's okay Y/n, I wanted to tell you something important also"

"Yes?"

"If by chance you don't get married or engaged or whatever, I have this feeling they'll set out your profits. I am not sure though"

I freeze. Wait what?

"What?"

"Yeah, apparently the co-owner is your father, he might appoint someone from his department or the Government to take over or manage stuff you know"

"So we have to get married? That's the only way?"

"Not we exactly, only you. But I'd rather you get married to me than anyone else"

"I will think about this Hatake, thank you for telling me though"

"It's alright. I should get going now, I'll wait near the car?"

"Yeah just give me a minute I'll put the dishes away"

I walk towards the garage, leaning against his car. I pull out a cigarette light it and check my phone for any messages.

Loid

We need to talk.
