"Sunny, can you hear me? Would you squeeze my hand?" I heard someone say.

"I-I can't," I gasp softly.

"Alright. Push another shot of it. Sunny, do you feel any pain?" She asked me.

I nodded slowly. I can't even open my eyes. Everything was painful.

"From one to ten, how painful do you feel your body is?" She questioned again.

"T-Ten," I muttered.

"Alright. I'm Dr Elaine. You're in the hospital right now. Emergency room. We will put you to sleep and wheel you to the OR. You have lost a lot of blood, and we need to take out your wounds and stitch them up. You're in good hands, Sunny. Don't worry."

"I trust you. Don't tell anyone about my condition except Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung and our team. No one gets to know about me except for you and Chaeyoung. I trust in you," I told her.

She held my hands, "You have my promise. I will keep your promise. You can trust me."

I nodded and swallowed.

Slowly, I felt my eyes getting heavier and soon fell asleep.

The surgery went well, and Sunny was wheeled into an isolation room so the doctor could monitor her now and then.

When some people came into the hospital to ask about Sunny, Dr Elaine refused to give any comments regarding Sunny's condition.

Even when the secret service director asked for the doctor's report, Dr Elaine only wanted Chaeyoung so she could deliver the news and update about Sunny.

Chaeyoung came later when all their job was done and after they had changed their clothes.

"Chaeyoung, the doctor wants to speak with you," One of the agents told Chaeyoung as soon as she arrived with the others.

Chaeyoung looked confused but immediately walked to the nurse station, asking for Dr Elaine.

Chaeyoung was brought to Sunny's private room, and she was already awake then. Two nurses were pushing in some painkiller liquid to Sunny because she was complaining that she had started feeling pain.

After the nurses left, Chaeyoung approached Sunny, adjusting her bed to a sitting angle.

"How are you feeling?" Chaeyoung asked as she sat on the bed.

"Better. More fresh blood and covered, clean wounds and painkillers." Sunny replied.

"Good to hear," Chaeyoung replied.

"Good job taking M down. How did you all came back to Seoul so fast?" Sunny asked as she leaned back and exhaled. Sunny was told that her team was in Indonesia for training.

"The jet you made," Chaeyoung said.

Sunny raised her eyebrows, "You mean the X Project? The super jet I created to cut time and super fast speed?"

Chaeyoung nodded, "Yeah. We cut about a few hours from the real duration of flying from Indonesia to Seoul."

"It wasn't ready enough," Sunny said in confusion.

"We figured it out while you were on a break. Quite a while already. Saw your blueprints. Our engineers also helped with some," Chaeyoung said.

Sunny chuckled and nodded, "You all did a really great job. The director should've made you guys a higher position people already."

Just then, Dr Elaine entered the room, smiling before asking Sunny how she was feeling.

"Better than earlier, obviously." Sunny replied.

Dr Elaine chortled, "The anaesthesia didn't do much to you, did they?"

Sunny shook her head with a downward smile. Dr Elaine chuckled and nodded, "That's what I thought when you were awake at the end of the surgery."

"Oh, God. You were awake!?" Chaeyoung shrieked.

Sunny laughed, "It was fine. I didn't feel much. I barely felt anything. Just awake and aware."

"Well, your condition is good right now. Stable. You will need a continuous checkup every few days. Clean your wounds and eat painkillers. Definitely going to be painful but with you? You can definitely handle gunshot pain. Only the thing that makes you weak is losing blood. Especially from your stomach," Dr Elaine said.

Sunny nodded, "That's good to hear. Yeah, I lost too much blood. I was scared that I wouldn't make it."

They chuckled, "Yet here you are. Still breathing."

Sunny smiled, "Oh, I would like to get transferred to Asan Medical Center as soon as possible, please."

Dr Elaine nodded, "For sure. I'll get some documents done, and you'll be good to go. Give me an hour."

Sunny nodded in response, "That would be nice. Thank you."

"You're welcome. All you need right now is rest. Any other, nothing. Just rest. You'll get better soon," Dr Elaine said.

Sunny nodded, "Got it, doc."

After the papers were done, Sunny was transported to Asan Medical Center by helicopter so she wouldn't need to meet the media reporters swarming the hospital.

Some even tried to enter through the back doors. But after it was found out, the secret service agent guarded every door in the hospital. Sunny was also guarded tightly. As soon as Sunny left for another hospital, the officials held a press to explain everything.

Instead of informing the public about Sunny's major injuries, the officials informed and confirmed that Sunny was injured but with only minor injuries.

The officials said, "Sunny only suffered minor injuries and is doing fine now. She had learnt martial arts and helped us to have a picture of what was happening on the flight. We would like to extend our gratitude towards Sunny for her courage in doing that."

Thank God she's a strong woman. Thank God she didn't go into a coma because of blood loss. That was her first time handling an aeroplane hijacking.

She has to admit that it was both good and bad. She didn't have a fixed plan in her mind.

Everything was a one-second decision. That idea just came into her mind and was executed immediately without thinking much.

She knows she needs to think more next time. At least think twice.
