"Haven, you ready?!" Josh called through the house, appearing in the doorway of our bedroom a few moments later.
"Almost." I mumbled as I finished up my makeup and fixed my hair. After pulling on some leggings and a top I sprayed my self with perfume and joined Josh's side.
We were going out.. But again it was a surprise. Stupid fucking surprises. All I knew was whatever we were doing was casual.
"Alright, let's head out." He spoke, taking my hand in his. I grabbed my purse on the way out of the house and we hopped into the truck.
Not too long later we pulled up at a Buffalo Wild Wings.
"Really? This was the surprise?" I asked with a blank face.
"It's part of it. Just wait Hav." I let out a sigh as we both got out of the truck. He took my hand in his as we walked up to the restaurant and headed inside. A server was at the door greeting people and Josh mumbled to her something that I didn't catch. After nodding her head she had us follow her back to a table. The place was loud as the Tv's showed sports games and everyone talked amongst themselves.
"We're just gonna grab some food and then we've got something fun to do later on. I promise it'll be worth it." He chuckled, sensing my slight disappointment. We made pointless conversation between ourselves for a good half hour, untill I felt a tap on my shoulder and heard a deep voice.
"Is this seat free?" He asked, I turned around to politely run him off but screamed when I saw his face.
"Chris!" I yelled, jumping out of my seat and throwing my arms around his neck.
"Hey Havy." He chuckled, squeezing me tight. "Did you miss me?"
"What are you doing here?!" I asked, stepping back and noticing the rest of the guys.
"Well we have a show tonight in Scranton so I figured I might as well come see my baby sis."
"Surprise." Josh spoke from the table.
We all ended up sitting down and getting a ton of food and just talking, joking and laughing for a good two hours.

"Why not?!" I argued.
"Because I don't want you getting hurt Haven." He sighed.
"I won't get hurt, come on Chris."
"Haven, I said no. It's not happening."
"Yes it is! I don't see what the big deal is!" I yelled at him.
"Our fans go fucking nuts at our shows, I can't let you in that crowd, especially with the fact that some of the fans might recognize you. Haven, you're staying back stage."
"No I'm not!" I yelled. He sighed then got a smirk on his face.
"Josh!" He yelled, heading towards the group of boys that Josh was with. "Tell her she's not going in that crowd. I'm not letting her front row, she can stay back stage."
"I'm not staying back there! It's no fucking fun!"
"It might not be fun Haven, but it's safe. And my job is to keep you safe, so is Chris's. Besides I can't go in that crowd either and you're staying with me."
"I hate you guys." I mumbled.
"Haven." Josh growled, before taking my hand and pulling me away from the group. "Cut the bullshit right now, Haven. I'm not putting up with it." He crossed his arms over his chest. "I'll take you home. You can say goodbye to Chris right now and we'll go home. Or you can knock it off and listen." I remained silent and he nodded his head. "That's what I thought. Now come on." He took my hand in his and we headed back to the group that was getting ready.
"Come on Havy." Chris spoke, taking my hand in his as they headed towards the stage. It really wasn't the same being back stage, there was no fun without the crowd around you. It almost felt lonely, even though Josh was with me.
"You ever miss these days?" I asked Josh as we watched the guys perform.
"Sometimes." He nodded his head, biting his lip. "But I'm happy where I'm at and I think this is what's best for me. I don't wanna be in that big of a spotlight anymore, its just not my thing... And I have enough going on between the two shops, the cafe, the salon and the club.. And my own music. I could never juggle all of that and motionless." I nodded my head. Sometimes I missed the days when he was a part of the band too. The late nights staying up on the bus, the occasional sneaking into Josh's bunk when I couldn't sleep.
See the thing was, Josh and I had always been friends. We had always been close. But we had never thought of becoming more at the time because I was always in relationships and then he was with his ex. On top of that Chris would've never approved when Josh was still a part of the band, hence why I even had to sneak into Josh's bunk.
We didn't really let our feelings get past friends, we couldn't then. Josh wrapped an arm around my shoulder and pulled me into him, kissing the top of my head.
"You remember that time we snuck out?" He asked, laughing.
"You mean when the bus almost left without us? Yeah I remember." I shook my head, laughing as well. We were crazy back then.
"I love you Haven."
"I love you too Josh."
After the concert had ended we only got to spend about an hour all together before having to part ways so the guys could get on with their tour.
"Please be careful Chris, and call me okay?" I spoke, hugging him.
"I will. I promise Havy... And Josh, you take good care of my little sister or you're gonna have hell to pay." Chris threatened him.
"You know how I feel about her, Id never let anything happen to her." He replied.
"I'll see you later Haven. I love you." Chris told me as we parted ways.
"Love you Chrissy.. I'll see you around." I sighed. I watched as they got on the bus and left.
Only when they were gone did I turn around and head to the truck, hand in hand with Josh.
"I'm gonna miss them." I sighed..
