I woke up to kisses being placed all over my face, neck and chest.
"Good morning my beautiful angel." Josh spoke in his deep morning voice as he noticed my eyes flutter open. He hovered over me as he leaned down for a kiss. I pressed my lips against his and melted into him
"I missed this." I whispered as we pulled apart.
"God me too kitten." He sighed. "Which Is why I think we need to talk some things out.." He spoke, making my heart drop. Talk? Was he leaving me? Was there a problem? He had my heart racing a million miles a minute. "Its nothing bad kitty." He told me when he noticed me panicking. He sat down beside me and took my hands in his. "I just..-" he started, but cut himself off with a sigh. "Haven, I don't like the idea of you being unprotected, and I don't like the idea of you being unsafe either... I'm obviously not gonna make you change things or give up things for the sake of this relationship but I really wish that you would consider giving up your apartment." He told me. "If I'm being honest I want you as far away from Andrew as possible.. And you're always here anyways now.. And you've got Chris's place to run to if you need to get away."
"So.. You want me to move out of my apartment?" I asked, trying to clarify. He nodded his head while biting his lip. "Okay.. Is that it? That's all you wanted to talk about?"
"Yeah.. I just wanna know that you're safe... You know you can move in if you want.. I'm all for it." He slyly suggested.
"Yeah, I'll consider your offer." I laughed.
When we finally decided to get out of bed Josh made coffee for the both of us and we got dressed and ready to go out.
We ended up going to Chris's house, real shocker there right?
"Chrissy, I'm home!" I sang thru the house after unlocking the door and letting Josh and I in. After searching the whole house I found him upstairs asleep. I immediately climbed onto his bed and started jumping on it to wake him up.
"What the fuck?!" He mumbled, bolting up from his sleep. "Haven, cut that shit out!" He yelled at me, running a hand thru his hair.
"Not untill you get up." I teased him.
"Josh!" He screamed, taking a guess he had came with me but.. At this point I didn't go anywhere without him though. "Come get your cat!" He joked, but was probably serious about wanting Josh to get me off of his bed.
"Haven." Josh sighed, appearing in the door way. "Why?" He asked.
"If hes not gonna get up, then I'll make him get up." I shrugged before letting out a scream of surprise as Chris grabbed my ankle and yanked me down.
"I'm up Haven. Jeez." Chris huffed. I crossed my arms over my chest and pouted.
"Come on, kitten. Lets let him get up and get ready." Josh held his hand out for me. I reluctantly got up and took his hand as he pulled me out of the room. "Oh, kitten." Josh spoke, seemingly amused. "You're a handful, you know that?"
"Oh.." I sighed. "I'm sorry.."
"No, no baby. I didn't mean it in a bad way." He reassured me. "You're perfect angel." He pulled me into him and kissed the top of my head before sitting down on the couch and pulling me beside him.
"Happy now Havy?" Chris asked as he walked into the room. "I'm up." He mumbled.
"Yeah, I am now Chrissy." I mocked him. "Bout damn time."
"I swear to god, get your fucking girl Josh." He growled.
"Oh shut up Chris. You know you love me. Whats up your ass?"
"You! Waking me up so goddamn early!"
"Well jeez, I'm so fucking sorry. You know what? Go fuck yourself. I'm leaving." I mumbled, standing up to go. Josh grabbed my wrist.
"You guys." Josh growled.
"Let her leave, I don't care." Chris mumbled.
"Dude..." Josh spoke.
"I don't need her fucking attitude, I've got enough going on and I'm too fucking tired to deal with it."
"Lets go." I growled at Josh, pulling away but he kept his grip on me.
"Haven." Josh snapped, calling me down. "Both of you, knock it off. You guys love each other. Remember?"
"I love her when she's not acting like a bitch l-" Chris started.
"Fuck you, you assh-" I had cut him off, but I myself was cut off by Josh.
"Haven! That's enough!" He barked. I fell silent and stared at Josh. "You two act like kids." He rolled his eyes.
"Look, I've got enough going on, I'm too stressed and I didn't need this." Chris sighed. I bit my tongue, wanting to obey Josh. No matter how bad the urge was to respond to Chris, I didn't wanna let Josh down.
"Alright. Then I'm just gonna take her to go do something else so that you can have space." Josh shrugged. We ended up leaving and going out to lunch.
"You know, what you did wasn't exactly right." He told me as we sat across from each other at a restaurant. He stretched his arm across the table and rested his hand on the side of my face, softly using his thumb to stroke it. "But I am pretty proud of you listening to me like you did kitten." I leaned into his touch and completely forgot about being out in public. I was normally shy, but whenever I was with Josh I found it easier to be a little more open and outgoing. "You're such a good girl kitten." He smiled at me. I was thankfully I was sitting down as my knees went a little weak. I was definitely a sucker for being praised, especially when it was coming from Josh. I would do anything just to hear him call me a good girl. After getting lunch we went back home and we turned on the TV, relaxing on the couch together. He played with my hair as I sat in between his legs, watching the show that he had turned on. I leaned back against him, causing him to wrap his arms around me and kiss the side of my head.
"My kitten." He sighed in content, putting a smile on my face. "You know.. I think you've got me wrapped around your finger." He told me, but he had no idea of the spell that he had me under.
