"I just dont think its a good idea." Josh sighed as we sat on the couch with Chris on the loveseat.

"I mean I don't see any harm in it Josh. Sure, I'll take her out if youre dead set on not letting her go with you but I don't see her going with you being a problem."

It had been three weeks since the accident and it was now the end of August, Josh just bought a building and they were starting to re do the inside of it so that he could make it into a bar. I wanted to go but Josh was dead set on making me stay with Chris.

"Please, I wanna go with you." I begged Josh. I was mostly healed I was able to move around like before the accident. He sighed, seemingly conflicted.

"Haven, I don't need anything else to happen to you Angel."

"Josh, I'm fine!" All that's left is a few bruises, I'll be fine."

"She's a tough girl, Josh. If I thought she shouldn't be going I would gladly keep her back with me but I think she'll be fine." Chris vowed for me. After all he was my brother and he knew me best.

"Fine." Josh sighed. "You can come with me but you're not lifting anything and youre not climbing anything. Understood?" I nodded my head, happy that he was just letting me go with him.

We left pretty much right away and headed to down town scranton. A couple people ended up coming over to help and I mostly just sat around listening to the music that Josh was playing and occasionally helping with small things.

We didnt leave untill after the sun went down and they had made a fair amount of progress.

"Are you hungry Brat?" He asked as we climbed into the truck. We had eaten earlier in the day but we hadnt really had dinner.

"A little." I admitted quietly. He took us out to eat on the way home and after eating I was exhausted. Especially considering it was the first day since the accident that I had been this active. Josh mostly kept me at home unless we were just heading to the store and going to the shop for a bit. Honestly it was getting aggrivating and a little much. I understood why he was trying to protect me but I had told him countless times that I was fine now, and I was.

I mostly only had some yellowed bruises left, and the cuts and scrapes were mostly healed. There was still sometimes a clicking sound from my chest when I breathed heavy or did strenuous things but that was the extent of it. I really was fine.

"Haven." He spoke, squeezing my hand on the way home to get my attention. I looked over at him and he continued. "I'm sorry, I know youve probably been frustrated with me lately since I haven't been letting you do anything and I understand that. I just want you to understand that I'm just trying to keep you safe. If I have one job in this world it's keeping you safe and so maybe I've been a little.. Extra lately but I just want you healed and I'm trying to make sure you dont get hurt again."

"Its fine." I mumbled.

"I love you Haven and I just want the best for you and for you not to be in pain anymore..  Or ever again for that matter."

"I love you too Josh and I do understand. Its just been frustrating being treated like a child and not being allowed to do anything. On top of that you know I dont like being away from you and so I havent appreciated you making me stay at home or with Chris when you get to go out and do stuff, its unfair."

"Angel I-"

"No." I cut him off, letting my frustration out. "Dont try to justify it! I've been fine for the last week maybe even two and Chris and I have both been voicing that to you but you dont listen!"

"Haven." He growled. "Don't raise you voice at me. Give me a lecure all you want but do not raise your voice at me little girl." I crossed my arms over my chest and stayed silent. "I'll ease up and start letting you do more stuff and go more places with me. Does that make you happy?" He spoke calmly minutes later.

"That's all Ive been asking for." I sighed.

When we finally got home I went straight upstairs and took a bath before climbing into bed.

It was probably about half an hour later when Josh came into the bedroom with a towel around his waist. Despite me being exhausted I still hadnt fallen asleep.

"Come here brat." He spoke as he got into bed and wrapped an arm around me, pulling me into his chest. "You know.. I didn't appreciate you raising your voice with me earlier. I'm fine with you lecturing me sometimes if I did something wrong but I don't tolerate being yelled at."

"I'm sorry, I just was frustrated." I apologized quietly.

"I understand that love but no yelling at daddy, okay baby?" I nodded my head before burying it in his chest and getting comfy. "I need words kitten."

"Yes daddy."

"Good girl. I love you Kitten." He kissed my forehead before I buried it back into his chest.

"I love you too." I spoke against his bare skin.

I ended up not being able to sleep that well so Josh put Alice in Wonderland on as we layed in bed and held each other.

As I layed in bed next to him he played with my hair and gently rubbed my forehead to help me fall asleep but it just wasn't happening.

I hated nights like that. Where you're so exhausted when you get into bed but then you can't even fall asleep.

We ended up getting into the truck and taking a short drive, and when we got back I was finally able to fall asleep wrapped in his arms.
