Song: grapejuice by Harry Styles
"Two glasses of the oldest red you got" Harry says, leaning on the bar.
After the bartender nods, Harry turns slightly and lets out a breathless laugh as he watches Louis cut a rose off a bush with his small dagger. He thinks he's so sly, looking around to his left and right, checking if anyone's watching. Harry decides to let him have it, and turns his head around again, watching the bartender open some nice looking bottle and pouring the wine into two glasses.
"Hi" Says a female voice next to him and Harry turns his head to find a blond woman. She's beautiful, there's no arguing that. Her hair is in a ponytail, she's wearing something tight and short, maybe because of the heat, maybe because she wants to show off her body. She seems like she's around Harry's age.
Harry glances to his left, finding three other similarly beautiful women on the side of the bar, instantly looking away when he meets their eyes. Oh, so she's probably been hyped up by her friends before this. The woman sits down on the barstool next to Harry without asking if it's occupied. If she had asked, Harry would have had the perfect opportunity to turn her down politely because yes that stool is occupied. Reserved for Louis and Louis only.
"Are you alone here?" She asks when Harry doesn't greet her back. She smiles and puts her arm onto the bar to rest her chin on the palm of her hand.
Now that is the perfect opportunity to turn her down politely. Harry is not a fan of being rude to people hitting on him. But he's the only one with that mindset, apparently.
Harry is just about to open his mouth as an arm winds around his waist and Louis is right by his side. "No, he's with someone. See these?" He puts a hand on Harry's chin, turns his head and points at the several dark hickeys decorating his skin. "I made these" Louis nods proudly. "So now go buy your own drink and let us have a date in peace"
Harry would scold him and apologise to the woman who is visibly humiliated now, but his stomach is doing cartwheels and he can't really get a word out. He will scold Louis next time. Maybe in five months he will tell him that that was rude. But right now, he feels so giddy. Louis is so sassy and so lovely.
Before the girl can reply, Louis takes one of the wine glasses now on the surface of the bar and tugs Harry with him. Harry only smiles at her apologetically and grabs his own glass before he lets Louis lead him, his fingers protectively sprawled out on his hip bone.
"Didn't think you'd be the possessive type of boyfriend"
"Oh, really?" Louis asks, sitting down in the sand and patting the space next to him to motion for Harry to sit down next to him. "My hickey kink wasn't enough evidence?"
"Good point," Harry nods and clinks their classes together before he takes a sip, looking ahead at the horizon. The afternoon sun is warm on his face and he closes his eyes momentarily, smiling.
After last nights exhausting activities they fell asleep in the bed, both totally knocked out. They must have slept for about eleven hours but what is the concept of time anyway. Then after morning sex, they took a shower together that was longer than needed (they're young, what about it) and then arrived at the next cute little island.
They found a small church, accidentally walking in on a wedding so they just sat down in the last row and Louis whispered mocking comments and dirty things into Harry's ear throughout the entire ceremony, only to make him laugh. Afterwards they stole some cake and ran away, climbed up a tree and sat on a strong branch, legs dangling down as they talked about random things with the nicest view Harry has ever come across. Well, he looked at Louis ninety percent of the time, but still.
