Chapter 4

Yoohyeon's POV

I'm so embarrassed by what I did last night, I should have just let Sunmi call a cab for me.. I put my hand in my jean pockets searching for my car keys. I looked around for my car and found it parked nearby Jazz Bar.

I looked around the area before hopping in my car and driving home. I received a call from my Dad earlier, I wonder what's the deal this time.

After a few minutes of driving, I've arrived back home. The guards opened the gates for me so my car could enter the driveway. I got out of my car and gave the keys to one of our drivers.

Our housekeeper, Mrs. Jang approached me before warning me, "You're Dad is furious, so watch your attitude around him, ok?" I smiled at the old lady before nodding, she's my only friend here in this mansion.

I walked inside the mansion, I saw Dad sitting on one of the bar stools, He glanced at me before saying, "What you did was very unprofessional and embarrassing!" I lowered my head while listening to him.

"Doing that in front of our shareholders was wrong! We could lose those important people, Yoohyeon-ah. Do you realized what you've caused?? I NEVER want to experience something like that again" He snapped before standing up and leaving. I bowed before apologizing and walking towards my room.

I lay on my bed for a few minutes, closed my eyes after exhaling loudly before standing up again and walking to the bathroom to take a cold shower.

After taking a shower, I went downstairs. I spotted Mrs. Jang outside the kitchen area, I nodded before walking past her, "Yoohyeonie, here take this" she smiled before handing me a riceball. I smiled before taking it and thanking her.

I went outside and asked for my car keys from one of our personal drivers, as soon as I got the keys, I drove myself to the company.

My experience inside the company is pretty much the same for everyday. Sometimes, if I'm lucky.. Dad will be in a good mood. Most of the times, we clashed with each other.

After a long day at work, I received a call from my sister, Bora.

"Hey, what's up? Everything good?"

"Yea, you heard from Mrs. Jang?" I asked.

"Yea.. you didn't come home last night. Where'd you go?" She asked concerned.

"Oh. I went to Jazz Bar, grabbed a few shots and next thing I know I followed this beautiful lady to her apartment and passing out infront of her and her friend and embarrassing myself like an idiot" I facepalmed myself, I heard my sister gasped.

"Did you get her name at least?" I heard her chuckled over the line.

"Yea.. I did.." She laughed before saying she has to end the call.

"oh but Yoohyeon-ah.. don't drink too much.. okay?" I hummed before ending the call. I sighed.

The girl from last night.. she's really gorgeous and she seems like an interesting person. I remembered she was wearing this working uniform last night, it seemed like she works at the Thai Restaurant next to Jazz Bar.

I nodded to myself before driving to Jazz Bar. I looked around and saw the restaurant, I looked inside and saw her, working. I smiled while waiting for her to get out. I really wanna make it up to her for last night.. she must've think I'm super weird that I followed her. I mean.. what I'm doing right now is stalker-ish but I don't have her contacts so I'm not sure how to approach her. I just hope this works..

Jiu's POV

The manager called me to the office, I went inside the office and sat on one of the chairs in front of the manager's desk. He looked at me disappointingly.

"I heard you talked back to one of our regular customers?" I narrowed my eyes, ah.. the guy from last night. I nodded.

"When something like that happens involving one of our regular customers, try to expand your patience and just ignore it ok?" I felt my face starting to overheat.

"He touched me. And I didn't feel comfortable, I don't care how long he's been going at this restaurant. He can't do that to me" I replied gritting my teeth and clenching my hands trying to suppress my anger.

"Yea, I get that Minji-ssi. But threatening to call the police is going overboard. I'm just saying this for your sake, there are some sick people out there and they love challenge so I just want you to watch your attitude with these people" I scoffed before rushing out of the office room.

The audacity of these stupid jerks. Why do I have to be careful around men?? Why can't they keep their hands on themselves?? I sighed before walking out of the restaurant.

"J-jiu-ssi.." I got surprised by the sudden greeting coming from my right side and noticed that it's the silver haired girl from last night.

"Y-Yoohyeon-ssi.. right..?" I asked trying to remember her name. I saw her nodded before saying, "Yoohyeon, drop the formalities" I nodded.

"What were you doing outside? Do you work around here?" I asked her confused, "Ah.. aniyo.. I can't stop thinking about how embarrassing I was last night and was wondering if I could take you out on a friendly date to make it up to you?" She replied shyly while scratching her neck.

"Oh. That's fine, you don't have to" I said, she shook her head before saying, "please let me make it up to you" I glanced at her before saying, "my bestfriend was there too you know.." She was taken a back before saying,

"Right..! Uhm.. I-I'd like to take both of you to a friendly date, if that's alright?" She asked again. I looked away thinking if I should accept her offer.

"I'll have to ask Siyeonie first, but I appreciate your offer" I said before smiling at her. She nodded. I nod back before turning around.

"Uh.. J-jiu-ssi.. c-can I have your contacts?" I looked at her weirdly, "F-for when Siyeon-ssi accepted my offer.. I don't have to come here to know.." She said. I hesitated before giving it to her.

We exchanged numbers before I turned around again and started walking. To my surprise, she catches up to me and started walking beside me. I looked at her confused.

"Are you on your way home?" She asked, I nodded. She's starting to get annoying.. well considering I'm in a bad mood right now..

"I'll walk with you then, there's a bunch of weird drunk people lurking around here" She said while pointing at the Jazz Bar we just passed. I just nodded my head and ignored her until we reached the apartment.

I turned around before nodding at her, she nodded back before turning away and walking back towards the restaurant I worked at. She's so confusing..
