Jiu's POV
Another day, another semester passed. Next semester will be my last before I graduate and get my degree. It's summer break which means, I have enough time to save up for my next semester fees.
Siyeon and I are currently sitting on our couch while watching some movies she picked on Netflix.
"You know.. that Yoohyeon girl kept looking at you when we had that dinner, I think she likes you" Siyeon said, I looked at her confused.
"Don't be ridiculous, Siyeon-ah" I dismissed it as fast as she said it. She shrugged, "I'm just saying.. she seems like a nice person though, you'd look great together" I glanced at her before saying, "I'm not into girls.. you know that"
I saw her smirked at me before saying, "Then, accept Taehyung's date" I rolled my eyes before getting defensive, "I have priorities. I can't fall in love and study at the same time. I need to meet my goals then love will follow"
Siyeon scoffed, "So? They can focus on you while you focus on your goals, or at least keep your options available.." I looked at her before saying, "All I know is, I can't. I don't want to, not right now" Siyeon laughed softly before shrugging. We both continued watching, ending the pointless conversation about love.
It's true.. jumping into a relationship while I'm not ready will only make things even harder for me.. I sighed.
I need to fix myself first. Build myself first, then.. I'll get to afford falling in love. At least that's how I go by..

Yoohyeon's POV
It's been about a few days since I last seen Jiu and her friend Siyeon. For a lot of reasons, I can't stop thinking about Jiu. I think I might have been catching feelings for her.
I grabbed my phone before dialing my bestfriend, Dami.
"Hey" She answered, I answered back.
"Hey are you free right now?" I asked.
"I'm never free, I'm on call this whole month but I can spare a few hours, what's up?" Yes, Dami is a neurologist. She's also busy all the time, we barely hang out anymore.
"Wanna grab a few drinks? You don't have to drink, just accompany me" I heard her sighed.
"Alright, the one near? Jazz Bar?" She asked, I said yes.
She dropped the call after I confirmed the location. I grabbed my blazer and put it on before heading towards the parking lot and towards my Audi.
A few minutes of driving, I've arrived at the bar. It's a Saturday, Jiu's off so there's no chance we'll bump into each other tonight.. I saw my bestfriend's car parked in front of the bar. The hospital isn't far from this location at all so I guess that's why she arrived faster than I.
I went in and saw Dami waving at me sitting on one of the table at the far left. I walked towards her, some people recognized me but I ignored them. They're probably daughters and sons of some of our shareholders.
"Damn.. anywhere you go.. yooh, are you sure you're not a celebrity?" I scoffed at her, "Oh please, They only know me because they know my Dad" I said rolling my eyes and ordering a whiskey.
"Hey guys" Sunmi greeted us, I smiled while Dami nodded at her. She gave us our orders before going back to her barista thingy.
"So.. what's poppin'?" Dami asked while looking at whatever that device she's holding.
"Well.. there's this girl and I think I'm in love with her" Dami gasped before putting the device she was holding back inside her blazer to look at me.
"Woah.. it has been a while Yooh" I nodded before taking a sip of the whiskey.
"But I'm not very confident.." I took another sip, she looked at me in disbelief.
"You? Why?" She asked.
"She's too perfect for me.. I don't think I can give her what she deserves" I said before taking another sip, Dami said to slow it down.
"That's how it is at first Yooh, I was like that when I met Dongie. She's a damn model for Christ's sake but you get it right? No one's perfect and you won't know unless you try so.."
"Did you tell her yet?" I gently shook my head.
"Tell her" Dami suggested.
I sighed before gaining the confidence to nod, "I guess I'll try, but she might find it weird" She looked at me before saying, "That's always how it is at first, Yooh. It can't be helped" I nodded.
"Anyway, how are you and Dongie?" I asked.
"I'm planning to ask her to live with me, since it's getting harder to see each other nowadays. She's busy with her modeling career, me with the Hospital" She shrugged, I nodded before smiling.
"I'm happy for you guys" Dami smiled before thanking me.
We talked for the next hour until the device that she was holding started beeping.
"Guess, I'll have to go. Do it, Yooh" She smiled before patting my back and leaving me alone at the bar. I sighed, why can't I stop thinking about you, Jiu..
