Chapter 16

Jiu's POV

"Did you guys have fun last night?" Siyeon asked. I smiled at her.

"Yea, we've made it official too.." She gasped before smiling widely at me.

"I'm happy for you Minji-ah, she seems like a nice person. You matched well" I nodded.

"Also.. she asked me to moved in with her" I saw her shocked expression, I nodded awkwardly.

"Did you accept it yet?" She asked, I heard the slight sadness from her voice, I shook my head.

"No.. I said I'll think about it. But honestly, I'm not sure.. I think it's too sudden?" I said.

"Accept it" I looked at her confused.

"Why?" I asked.

"Why not? Don't you want to get to know her?"

"I do.. but I still think it's too sudden.." She looked at me before smiling.

"I say.. just try it. Don't you think it's better to know what she's like before actually giving it your all and investing in that relationship than finding out later on that she's not all that?" I looked at her before nodding. She does have a point.

"What about you? Who's going to be your roommate? Are you kicking me out??" She looked at me in disbelief before laughing out loud.

"Well.. remember when Yoohyeon asked if I'm currently seeing someone? Well.. That person asked me to moved in with her, I didn't say anything yet because I didn't wanna leave you here alone" She looked straight to my eyes while saying that. I smiled.

"I appreciate you thinking about me BUT when will I meet this person then?? Why'd you hide her from me??" I playfully glared at her.

"This person is very secretive about her background and at first, I had some trust issues you know.. then she told me about her situation and I kind of understand it now. So.. I'll introduce you guys when she's ready" She gave me an apologetic smile. I nodded.

"You.. you're not dating a mafia aren't you??" She burst out laughing.

"What? No, Minji-ah. Hahahah" I slapped her shoulders playfully.

"Alright, I have to go take care of some things at the shop, tell Yoohyeon about the good news ok?" I nodded before smiling at her.

I looked around the pantry to check what food I should cook but my phone suddenly rang. It's a text from Yoohyeon.

I miss you - Yooh :) I smiled before replying.

Miss you too. Are you still at work? - M

Yea.. can I sleep over at your place? - Yooh :)

What time do you get out? I think that's fine.. - M

I'll get out as soon as possible, but if I take too long I'll just knock. Don't wait for me, ok? Sleep if you have to. - Yooh :)

I smiled before saying that I can wait for her since I don't have school tomorrow.

I looked at the clock, 12AM. I sighed, before standing up and turning off the TV. I was about walk inside my room when I heard a knock. Must be her..

I opened the door slowly before peeking and seeing her silver hair. I opened it wide after noticing that it was indeed her. I looked at her and saw how tired she is.

She gave me a smile before hugging me tightly. I smiled while wrapping my arms around her waist. We stayed like this for a couple of minutes before she pushes us inside the apartment and closing the door with her foot.

She pulled away before smiling at me.

"How was your day, love?" She asked sweetly, tiredness visible from her tone, "fine, how was yours? Have you eaten yet?" She shook her head.

"Ok, hand me your coat and sit over there. I'll cook something for you" She said I didn't have to but I insisted.

I looked around the pantry and grabbed a few ingredients to make Kimchijeon. I started making it but I feel her glances at me and so I looked back at her and caught her staring at me. She gave me a warm smile.

"Where is Siyeon unnie?" She asked, I looked at her slightly annoyed.

"You always ask for my bestfriend" I scoffed, I heard her chuckled before standing up to wrapped her hands around my waist, back-hugging me. She pushes away my hair to the side before kissing the side of my neck. I shivered from it but immediately smiled after hearing what she said after doing that.

"I only love you" I blushed, before turning around and playfully glaring at her.

"Whatever, Kim Yoohyeon" She grinned at me, I told her to go back to the dining area before serving her the kimchijeon and some rice.

She smiled before thanking me for the food. I smiled as soon as she started eating. She reaches for my hand and started caressing it.

"All I could think of at work is you, sorry I took a while.. I thought I'd be able to come early" She looked at me with regret visible on her face.

"It's fine, I don't have classes tomorrow" She nodded before drinking her cup of water. She let go off my hand before standing up and grabbing the utensils she used and washing them. I smiled while watching her back view.

As soon as she finished, I grabbed her arms before dragging her to my room. She looked around before smiling at me.

"Go shower first, please" She nodded before going straight to the bathroom. I immediately grabbed a pajama that I think will fit her before knocking on the bathroom's door. She peeked before grabbing the pajama I handed her.

I climbed on my bed before covering half of my body with the blanket and scrolling down through my phone. After a few minutes, Yoohyeon got out of the bathroom still with slightly damped hair before side hugging me and burrying her face on my neck, making me ticklish.

"I want to experience this every night, Minji. Still thinking about what I said?" She pulled away before giving me her puppy eyes.

I smiled before nodding at her, "yes.. and.. I'll move in with you" She cheered so loud I had to cover my ears, she hugged me so tightly while giving me kisses all over my cheeks. I giggled before telling her to stop.

"Thank you" She said sincerely, I smiled at her before kissing her nose and to her forehead.

We stayed cuddling each other for the rest of the night, I felt her slow breathing on my neck. She must be tired..

I too.. want to experience this every night. I wrapped my arms around her before slowly closing my eyes and finally falling asleep.
