Jiu's POV

I looked around her condo and can't help but to think that it's too big. There's no way she's not from a well-off family.. I frowned thinking why she would lie and not tell me.

But I guess, she must have a reason not to..

"This place is too big Yooh" I said, she looked at me before saying,

"It's because I don't have much things.." while scratching her nape.

True, she does have the most basic things only. A sofa, dining area with two chairs, a coffee table and a TV. Honestly, the place looks a bit depressing for someone like me who comes from a place with a lot of sentimental things..

"Hm.. I guess" I agreed.

"Babe, I'll have to catch a meeting in an hour. I'll have to go.. I'll make it up to you later" She looked at me apologetically before approaching me and kissing my cheeks.

"It's fine, I'll have to familiarize myself around here anyways. I'll take a walk around" I smiled she nodded before grabbing her bag and leaving.

I sighed before looking around and looking out these huge windows over looking the city view. Who are you exactly, Kim Yoohyeon..

My phone rings interrupting me and my thoughts. It's Mom.

"Neh.." I answered.

"Minji-ah, when are you able to visit us? It'll be your Dad's last week at the hospital" I smiled hearing that.

"Hm.. I can actually visit right now, Eomma. I'll hang up now. I'll be there in a few" I heard her happy reaction to it before ending the call.

I'll visit my parents at the hospital, yooh. - M

Alright, baby. I'll pick you up from there then. Take care! - Yooh :)

I put my phone in my purse before going outside to call for a cab. A few minutes later, I've arrived at the hospital.

I saw Dr. Lee talking to one of the nurse. She saw me before smiling and waving at me. I waved back.

"Last visit before your Dad's discharge?" I nodded before smiling.

"Alright, I'll be out of your way then Minji" She said. I smiled before nodding and walking towards my Dad's room.

I went inside the room and saw my parents talking to each other while watching the TV. I smiled as soon as my Mom noticed my presence.

"Oh, Minji-ah.. you're here?" Mom approached me before hugging me.

"Neh.. I have this for you guys" I handed them the stew I made. They both thanked me.

"How was your school, Minji-ah?" Dad asked.

"This next sem will be my last then, I'll just need to take the exam. I'm a little closer to my dream now, eomma, appa" They both smiled at me.

My phone rings, Yooh :) calling...

"Excuse me for a second" I told my parents before going outside to answer the phone.

"Babe? I'm outside the hospital, let me know when you're done ok?" I smiled before replying,

"Actually yooh.. can you come here, please?"

"Hm..? Waeyo..?" She sounded nervous, I giggled.

"Just come, please?" She hummed before ending the call. A few minute later, I saw her walks inside the hospital and rushing to me to give me a tight hug, I smiled before hugging her just as tight.

"Are you sure they'll like me..?" I kissed her cheeks before dragging her inside.

"Why wouldn't they?" I said before chuckling and dragging her inside the room.

"Oh? Hi, who's this Minji-ah?" Mom asked.

"Annyeonghaseyo.. Kim Yoohyeon imnida, nice to meet you" Yoohyeon bowed at them politely. My parents did the same after introducing themselves.

"She's also my girlfriend, eomma, appa.." I said softly trying to read their reactions. They both looked shocked but they soon smiled at each other before nodding.

"Well, then.. welcome to the family Yoohyeon-ah. We also heard about you paying for my husband's hospital fee, We don't know how to thank you. We will make sure to repay you. " my girlfriend sighed a relief. I chuckled.

"I'll take good care of your daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Kim. As for the payment, Minji has been by my side and she's been taking care of me, I think that's enough for me. Please don't worry about it" My parents both smiled before saying, "so well-mannered" I nodded. Yoohyeon smiled, I did too.

"eomma, appa, We won't be long ok? Just call me whenever you need something. It's your last night tonight right?" They both nodded.

Yoohyeon bowed one last time before we went out to walk towards her car and driving back to the condo. I turned the octopus to :) making my girlfriend smile. I kissed her cheeks because she's looking quite irresistible lately too. I smiled as soon as she whined

"I need to focus on the roooooad" She whined. I pinched her cheeks before kissing her forearm and going on about my own and letting her drive in peace.

"Can we drop by the macaroon shop? I've been craving that lately" I asked cutely. She glanced at me in shock. I raised my eyebrows at her.

"What?" I asked. She gave me a smile.

"When you act cute like that... how can I say no?" She said. I smiled before kissing her lower jaw. She turned her face, I quickly kissed her lips. She smiled before focusing on the road again.

"I love you.." I heard her say. That's the first time she said that.. I smiled.

"I love you too pup" I saw the corners of her mouth raised.

She parked across the Macaroon Shop. We went inside the shop and was greeted warmly by the crews. I smiled at them, Yoohyeon too.

I felt her hand around my lower waist. I smiled at the soft gesture.

"Babe.. I like this one. Oh.. this one looks good too.." I smiled watching her smiling at the Macaroons infront of us.

"Ok, we'll get a dozen. Pick 6 of your choice then I'll pick half" I heard her cheered happily.

We picked the macaroons before going up to the counter.

"Here you go, have a great day!" The cashier said, we both nodded before going inside the car and driving back home.
