CHAPTER SEVEN:

Charlie:
I say goodbye to Nick and his dad and walk back to our hotel. I decided to give Nick the book of memories I've been writing in today instead of waiting for Monday. He's had a rough morning and I just want to make him feel better. I get to the room and grab the notebook; thinking about how exactly I wanted to do this. I sit and think for awhile.

"Perfect!" I exclaim to myself as I finally had a good idea. But shit, I don't know any French. I'M SO USELESS HERE. I grab my phone and use the translator to ask the hotel staff if I can tape the pages to the wall, throughout the lobby, leading up to our room. I walk downstairs and show them the phone; they let out a small laugh, probably because I'm the idiot that needs a phone to translate for me, but nod their heads in agreement. I go to the store in the hotel to buy tape and Nick's favorite ice cream. I figure we could have dessert before dinner today; something that Nick likes to do even though we don't do it that often. I look at the notebook and start flipping through the pages to find my favorite ones because if I taped all of the ones I've written, the whole hotel will be covered. The front of each page has the memory, and the back of the page has a note for Nick about each one.

1. Our first snow day together; before I knew you liked me.

I think this will forever be marked down as one of your absolute favorite days. It was also the day you learned that you will be forever be losing to me at Mario Kart. Lastly, it was the day that I thought that this maybe, potentially could be the beginning of something.

2. The day we hung out at my house.

This was the day where I really started to believe that you maybe liked me. Even Tori called it that night. My first ever hug from Nick Nelson a/k/a the best hugger that ever existed. There was nothing stopping me from falling for you at this point.

3. Harry's party; our first kiss.

One of my favorite memories at my least favorite person's birthday. Racing with you up those stairs, now knowing that you were feeling all the same things I was. Two boys, running around, falling in love. How I ever mustered up the courage to ask you if he would kiss me is BEYOND me but I am so glad I did, look where it brought us.

4. The morning after.

Everything about this morning. You showing up at my house in the pouring rain (in my favorite jumper); easing my panic once we got up into my room by kissing me again (literally wow, took my breath away); to me running after you in the rain. ALL OF IT. I want this memory imprinted in my mind forever.

5. My birthday; you telling me you really like me.

Can you tell I was so unaware? I mean clearly, you liked me. You had been kissing me quite a bit already (: but this is a favorite memory of mine for a different reason. You were handling figuring yourself out in such a mature, confident way. You took a big step that day, kissing me where anyone could see us. I loved that night (even though you lost at Mario Kart, again!)

6. You telling Tara, Darcy & Elle about us.

Another favorite memory of mine because of the steps you were taking. No one was forcing you to do these things; you did them because YOU wanted to. I never had someone proud to be with me and wanted to show me off in a sense. It was a breath of fresh air. Sorry for tackling you when you told me that you told Tara and Darcy; it was just so amazing to hear. And seeing you tell Elle; wow. I'm pretty sure I loved you then xxx

7. CHAR!!

My favorite nickname in the whole entire word. And even though that night was not a great one (except for the fact that you punched Harry; wish I could've seen it). It was where one of my favorite moments of us happened. Although you only really use it when you're worried about me, it's still my absolute favorite nickname; "Say it again! I like it, it's cute" (:
