Chapter Fourteen.

Nick:
Charlie and I get into my car and start heading over to Rob's.

"I hope this goes better than it did last time he told Rob," I say.
"I think it will," Charlie says.

We get out of the car and walk over to his Condo and knock on the door and Adam opens it.

"Hey guys," he says nervously.
"You okay?" Charlie whispers to him.
"Yeah. Thanks," Adam says with a small smile.

We walk inside and see Rob sitting on the couch.

"Nick! And Charlie, right? How are you guys?"

We sit down next to him.

"Doing pretty well, how about you?"
"Sick of school already, but that's nothing new," he says with a laugh.

Adam makes his way over to Rob's side of the couch and sits down.

"I um, wanted to talk to you about something," Adam says in a low tone.

Rob repositions himself to look at Adam.

"What's up?"
"Um, remember when, back in high school, when Jacob moved into our town --"

I see Rob quickly look over at Charlie and myself before looking back at Adam.

"Yeah, I remember..." he says, almost confused.
"I know I shut down every conversation you ever tried to have with me after I told you that I thought I had feelings for him and then I refused to talk about it again. Well, I think I'm ready to talk about it now."

Rob immediately pulls Adam into a hug and looks at me and Charlie.

"Thank you," Rob mouths over to us.

Rob pulls away from the hug and I can tell they are both fighting back tears. Hell, I think we all are at this point.

"I think I'm, I mean, I am bisexual," Adam whispers.
"I've never been more proud to be your friend," Rob says. He looks over at me and Charlie. "And I've seen him be the sole reason we won our Rugby Tournament in high school, so that's saying a lot."

We all laugh.

"Are you going to tell your Mum and Dad?" He asks curiously.
"Definitely not; at least not right now. I'm not even sure if I'm going to tell anyone here."
"Well, you told three people which puts you leaps and bounds ahead from where you were yesterday," Rob says.
"Just take things one day at a time. That's what I did," I say with a smile.
"Until I became too irresistible that he had to start telling everyone," Charlie says jokingly as everyone laughs.
"Something like that," I say as I smile at Charlie.
"Plus, I don't think it's something that really has to be mentioned unless you find someone you're interested in. So just live your life and see what happens," Charlie says.
"What are the chances that you and I ended up being roommates? So strange,"  Adam says as he looks at me.
"I thinking everything happens for a reason. I think the universe wanted to show you that it's okay to be who you are. Who knows? You could end up happier than you ever thought you could be," Rob chimes in.

We hang out at Rob's for a couple of hours before I hear Charlie yawn.

"I think we're going to head back to the dorm. Adam, do you need a ride?"
"It's okay. I think I'll stay here tonight. You guys go and have some alone time," he says.
"Are you sure? We don't mind the company," Charlie says.
"I'm sure. I'll see you guys tomorrow. And I know I said it over a thousand times already today, but thank you both again. You both made a really stressful situation for me much more comfortable than I imagined."

We both smile and say our goodbyes and get into my car. I feel Charlie put his hand on my leg.

"Today has been such a good day," he says.
"Yeah. I'm really happy for Adam," I reply.
"I also really love that this is the second weekend in a row he's staying at Rob's Condo so we can have time alone," he says with a flirty smirk.
"I thought you said you don't mind the company," I tease.
"That doesn't mean I would prefer it over having you to myself," he says as the blood rushes to my cheeks.
"Oh yeah?" I say.

Charlie moves his hand to my upper thigh and gets closer to me.

"Oh yeah," he whispers into my ear.
"Charlie! I'm driving," I say, laughing.

Charlie:
We get back to Nick's dorm and I fall onto his bed. Nick sits down next to me.

"Tired?" He asks.

I shake my head no even though I'm a little tired. However, I just want to soak up this last weekend before I start school and our schedules will be working against us.

"I'm going to shower."
"Well, I guess I'll nap then," I say with a smile.

Nick throws a shirt at me while he's grabbing his towel.

"I thought you weren't tired," he teases.
"I'm just napping to gather energy to stay up all night," I say.
"All night? You, Charlie Spring? I'll believe that when I see it."

Nick leaves to shower and I let myself fall asleep. What feels like two minutes after I close my eyes, I hear Nick open the door. I open one eye.

"That's impossible. I've only been napping for like two minutes."

Nick laughs as he grabs his phone from his desk.

"You've been napping for twenty minutes at least," he says. "You can sleep Char, I can wake you up in a little if you want."

I open my other eye and sit up.

"No. Who knows when we're actually going to have alone time here?"

Nick smiles and walks closer to me.

"Is that the only reason you came up here?"

I pretend like I'm thinking of answer.

"Not the only reason, but definitely a plus," I tease.

Nick slowly comes onto the bed and places his head in front of mine.

"Well, since it's the main reason you're here," he says as he crashes his lips into mine.

Without missing a beat, Nick grabs me by my waist and turns me as he lays down and pulls me on top of him. He's still in his towel and water is falling down his face from his hair. I pause for a second before taking off my own shirt. Even though I know Nick thinks I'm attractive, sometimes, even if it's for a split second, I feel extremely insecure. I swear, Nick knows me better than anyone, because even though I only paused briefly, he knew what it was about. He runs his hand through my hair as he looks into my eyes.

"God, I'm so in love with you," he says.

And just like that, my insecurities wash away. I crash my lips into his as he races to unbutton my pants as I quickly remove his towel. As we continue to get lost in each other, I just can't help but feel like the luckiest guy in the world.

The rest of the night we just lay in bed, watching movies and falling into conversation. Nick looks at me as I feel myself getting sleepy.

"Still up for that all nighter?" He asks.

I look at my phone and see that it's already three in the morning.

"Just a couple of more hours? No problem," I say as I yawn.

Nick laughs.

"Come on then," he says as he gets up.
"Where are we going?"

He shrugs.

"I'm in," I say with a smile.

We start walking around and find ourselves at the Rugby field. We walk up to the highest level on the bleachers and sit down.

"Excited for Rugby season?" I ask as Nick puts his arm around me and pulls me closer.
"Really excited. You're going to come to my matches, right?"
"Obviously," I say. "I need to cheer on this school's newest and best Rugby lad."

He laughs as he puts his head on mine. We talk for a couple of hours.

"I think we officially pulled an all nighter," Nick says as he points to the sun rising.
"Wow, it's so beautiful," I say.
"I'll say," Nick says but I look and see that he's actually looking at me when he says that, not the sun rise.
"The sun rise is over there, silly."
"My view is way better," he says.
