The ride home wasn’t the same as the ride there. There was no talking; you both were in complete silence. The silence wasn’t awkward though, you both were just sitting there in comfortable silence as Zayn drove home. You kept smiling though. What am I? Like the luckiest girl in the world ever? That has to be it. Zayn finally spoke, “How are you doing love?” His concern made you smile that much more. “I am feeling better now, especially since we’re almost home.” Zayn turned on the street in which your house was located. “Are you tired?” He pulled into the driveway. “I’m not sure actually.” You half laughed. Zayn stepped out of the car, and walk around to the other side, as you get out of the car yourself. He grabbed your hand and the two of you walked into the house, “You know, I am still going to count this as our first date.” There he goes again, making me smile.

We both go and sit down on this beautiful couch. Zayn smiles at me, “You’re so gorgeous.” You blush at him. Here we go again… “Thank you.” You started to get a huge headache, and you grabbed the top of your head. “Ouch!” Zayn reached for the hand that was on your head. “Are you okay babe?” His hand put pressure on yours, which made you wince. “I am fine.” “No, you’re not. Stay here, I am going to be right back okay?” “Okay Zayn.” With that he got up from the couch and went up the stairs, and soon you didn’t hear his footsteps anymore.

You let a sigh out, dropped your purse on the floor, and took your shoes off of each foot, with the toes of the other foot. While you were waiting for Zayn, you took his jacket off and tossed it on the arm of the chair. For a minute it was really quiet, and then you heard Zayn’s footsteps as he started walking down the stairs. You look over at him, and see that he can barely see where he’s walking because he has his hands full of blankets and pillow. There was a really big, blue blanket, a kind of big, green blanket, and 4 pillows. He dropped them all on the ground. You laughed at him, “What’s all this?” He grabbed the green blanket and laid it on the floor. You probably had a puzzled look on your face, but he wasn’t looking at you at the moment so you would never know. He put two of the four pillows on top of the left width side of the blanket, the length side being against the couch. Then, he grabbed the other pillow and placed them on top of the pillows that were already on the blanket. “Looks comfortable doesn’t it?” Zayn looked up, and looked you in eyes.

“Yes, it does.” You laughed and laid down on the blanket and the rested your head back on the pillows. “These are really comfortable!” You announce to him, smiling. “I thought you would think so.” Zayn took his shoes and jacket off as well. Then, he grabbed the other blanket and covered you with it. As he lay down next to you on the blanket, he covered himself too. Zayn rested his head back on the other pillows, just as you did. You both, almost at the same time, turned on your side so that you both were facing each other. You smiled at Zayn, which only made him smile. You both leaned in and kissed each other. This kiss was unlike any other kiss that you have ever experienced. It wasn’t full of lust, or rough. It was so very soft. It was loving, and passionate. His lips were soft, and all that you could think about was how much you’re glad that Zayn is yours. And even better than that he was, and always have been your best friend. You smiled through the kiss.
