"Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me." Getting to Know You, The King and I

You had started to record many videos with the SBI, but you also had to stream many lore streams on the Dream SMP. Currently, you were streaming with Wilbur on the DreamSMP, but today you wouldn't be doing any lore. Instead, Wilbur wanted to introduce you to Technoblade.

Waiting in the designated spot Wilbur told you to stay at, you patiently practiced your sign language behind the screen until two people joined the vc.

"U/n! I want to introduce you to someone! U/n, this is Technoblade, Techno, U/n." Wilbur started as both of their minecraft characters came closer to yours. You stayed still as you watched both of them.

"Hallooo." Techno greeted you.

"Uh, U/n? You there?" Wilbur asked, confused as you didn't type anything in the chat.

U/n: I'm here, sorry. I just... ah, how can I say this... it's an honor meeting you Technoblade. I am a very big fan.

"WHAT?? U/n you know Technoblade but you don't know anyone else??? I mean- you didn't even recognize me! Or- or Tommy when we first met!" Wilbur said in shock.

U/n: I don't watch other videos/streams a lot. But I accidentally clicked YouTube once and it recommended to me one of Technoblade's videos. After that, I've only ever been watching his videos if I ever click on YouTube.

"Well it's an honor meeting you as well U/n. I've seen some of your streams and they're really relaxing to watch." Techno replied in response, "Hey, do you wanna do something?"

U/n: Sure, and thanks

Wilbur silently watched in slight jealousy as he followed behind the two minecraft players. They both had gotten along quicker than Wilbur expected as they started a new conversation without him. Though he was quite glad that they had become quick friends, he just couldn't help but feel jealous for some reason.

All three of them decided to play bedwars and Wilbur couldn't help but notice your quick glances at Techno's character and when he notices he gives a quick subtle nod as if to say, "You're doing a great job" or "Keep going," as a form of encouragement. He felt as if his best friend position was being threatened.

In retaliation Wilbur constantly praised you, which made you confused but you accepted the many compliments. Technoblade on the other hand, was thoroughly enjoying what was happening. He had to hold back his laughter at Wilbur's jealousy as he interacted with you.

He could tell that you looked up to him a lot and thinks it's pretty funny and can't help but feel he's somehow gained another sister of some sort. Plus, annoying a jealous Wilbur with you, although you didn't realize, was very fun. Techno was certain he was going to be making videos and doing streams with you in the future.

The future videos that Technoblade foresaw came quicker than he thought. Currently he was recording a lore video with you and Wilbur, explaining more of your past in the DreamSMP. His character had found your home and discovered you and Wilbur talking.

I think you brought a new friend Wilbur

Sign language? Techno signed back a hello and you smiled, mentioning him closer.

"Techno-" Wilbur whispered to him, "You cannot tell anyone else about her." and Techno nodded in response, sitting with them.

"U/n, this is Technoblade, Techno, U/n." Wilbur introduced, and you both nodded at each other.

You and Wilbur continued to discuss L'manberg. You had expressed to Technoblade that you weren't with the government, you were just sharing your ideas with Wilbur on his next decisions with L'manberg.

But Techno started to doubt that. Your ideas seemed more political rather than an opinion. You seemed to have experience of being in a government.

"U/n, you're a genius, I'll be right back, I'm gonna get a book and quill!" Wilbur said, muttering your ideas to himself as he ran off.

"How do you know all these things unless you're with the government? Didn't you say you didn't want a part of L'manberg's government? Were you lying?" Techno asked, apprehensive, untrusting, weary, distrust, betrayal, every emotion building within him as the voices got louder, giving you a dead look that warned, I will not hesitate to kill you.

You sighed, before signing back to Technoblade.

I was part of a government once. Not L'manberg, another government. But they... they did something unforgivable that I was not even aware about, and I don't want to be a part of that ever again. I don't like... I...

Never again... but Wilbur is my friend and he needed help so... I'd put friendship and family over the government any day, like you and a few others. I've been a bit... selective when it comes to close friends after... what happened...

"I see..." Techno calmed down. You were trustable. You knew how corrupt the government was. The voices calmed into those of affection. To protect.
