"Stay awake, don't close your eyes." Stay Awake, Mary Poppins
Your popularity had risen after your team had won MCC. Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo were now often on your streams, just chatting as you played calmly on Minecraft, or you just watching over them as they tried to beat the game or just playing survival.
Wilbur occasionally showed up as well. He seemed to think that you needed more help watching the children (though everyone knew you were doing pretty well on your own) although minutes after, he would turn into a child as well.
Phasmophobia, a usually intense, scary game, was fun to play with Wilbur and the children. Though you didn't exactly have a good sense of direction in the game, and you couldn't talk to the supernatural with your mic not activated, you ended up being the person who always died first.
It's not that you minded, you always went to sacrifice yourself so you could explore the area with more freedom.
Wilbur got mad at you doing that, and ended up trying to protect you every round. It was his mission to make sure you didn't die first, yet somehow, you always found a way.
"U/n I swear you're not even trying to survive."
... alright, I'll try
"Huh? Wait where are you going? We should go find the others."
You went around collecting evidence, clearing off each possibility, you and Wilbur suddenly came across bodies.
I guess that's where they went
Wilbur started laughing since your text seemed so unconcerned (because you were, they had already gone silent for a while and you assumed their deaths happened).
I didn't die first this time. The children did
You could already hear Tommy screaming that he wasn't a child and you smiled. Having friends is much funner than you expected.

You weren't paying attention.
You had started off your day at 12pm, sleeping in late since you had an off day from work. So after eating some food and bringing your (prefered snacks) to your room, you started streaming. An unplanned stream with no specific goal in mind. You just wanted to play games, so why not have people watch you.
Moving on from Doki Doki Literature Club!, you went to play Sucker For Love: First Date.
Yeah, you were just feeling lonely, so why not play games that are terrifyingly romantic?
You then played minecraft, beating the ender dragon, and then building a small, cute hut in a pen filled with chickens. Suddenly you got a call from Wilbur, so you answered it. You hadn't heard from any friends all day, so one just calling you made you feel better.
You heard the familiar joining sound from discord and then Wilbur's voice.
"U/n, you've been streaming for hours. Did you even take a break!? And I don't know the time where you're at, but surely it's getting late already." he was concerned. He had joined your stream halfway through and let it play idly as he edited a video, but when he realized you hadn't ended yet and checked how long you've been streaming he decided to call.
oh
"'Oh' indeed U/n, 'oh' indeed. Go to sleep right now, sorry chat, but U/n needs proper rest."
Bye chat
You ended the stream but stayed on call with Wilbur. "I guess I'll get going now-"
stay. please. I haven't heard from anyone all day
"Okay, but at least get to bed."
Getting your phone and re-calling Wilbur from there, you lay down on your bed, making sure your mic was muted. "Uh, I guess I can tell you about my day, since I don't want you typing, I want you resting."
"Though it was nothing too eventful, just some editing for videos, but recording the video was fun. I was with Tommy..."
Just listening to his voice speaking about his day made you feel better. You were feeling less lonely than you were before. You knew that your friends didn't truly understand their importance to you, that Wilbur didn't understand, but that was fine. Sleep overcame you, so you closed your eyes and fell asleep.
