"Have you thought of something you'd like to do?" Soo-Yun asked as soon as he saw (Y/n).

It was the day after they had talked about it, but (Y/n) still had little to no idea of what she would enjoy doing. And she had thought about it, talked about it with Kakashi, and still not a single thing. She shook her head in defeat, but Soo-Yun didn't seem at all disappointed. In fact, he even smiled.

"I figured you wouldn't," he said, approaching her as they had just happened to bump into each other in a hallway. Although the truth was that Soo-Yun was actually headed to find her when she found him instead "Come with me, I kind of prepared something," he said, reaching his hand out with a tint of mischief in his smile. (Y/n) looked at him but she couldn't refuse after seeing his grin. And after she gave him her hand, they quickly left the building, going to a place of the palace she hadn't seen yet: the stables.

Obviously, (Y/n) had seen horses before, like in books and pictures, but never in real life. She knew they were big, but she was astonished when she saw them from up close and chilling around her. They looked majestic, with their shiny coats and combed manes. Soo-Yun approached a white horse, and when he caressed it the horse moved its head towards him, seeming to love his pats. It only amazed (Y/n) even more, and it was then, when he turned towards her, that he realized:

"You've never touched a horse before, have you?" he asked her. She shook her head in denial, nervous yet excited "Come," he said, once again reaching his hand out to her.

She was about to hold his hand, but then the horse looked at her, or at least it looked that way to her. She retreated her hand, spooked for a moment by the big animal, but then she saw Soo-Yun's reassuring smile that encouraged her to do it, so she did it. Immediately after, Soo-Yun's delicate and slender fingers wrapped around her hand until he had taken it to the horse's neck. There, he moved her hand until she was caressing it on her own, his smile getting bigger when she saw the joy in her shining (e/c) eyes.

"His name is Hyuk," Soo-Yun said, caressing him with her "he's been with me for 18 years," he added smiling. This time it was (Y/n) who looked at him and who noticed a special shine in his eyes that she decided not to ask about "How do you feel about riding him?" Now (Y/n) looked at him scared, or rather as if he had turned crazy "It's fine if you don't think you can," he laughed at her reaction "I wanted to go somewhere, but you can come on my horse with me if you prefer..."

She thought about it for a second while looking at the immense white horse. 'How am I even gonna get on?!' she asked herself. But when she thought about it and pictured her on the same horse as Soo-Yun she got even more nervous. How were they gonna travel together with just one horse? She thought those things only happened in the teenage romance books she read. She looked at Soo-Yun, at his prince-charming face and turquoise eyes, and immediately shook her head in denial.

"I'll try," she answered. Soo-Yun smiled shortly and moved somewhere farther in order to retrieve the bridle and other elements needed. And while he prepared the horse, (Y/n) stood there, feeling awkward and wanting to help, but not wanting to be a nuisance a the same time.

"Come on," he said once he was done, once again offering her his hand. This time she held it without a second thought "Put your foot here and I'll help you up," he said, and right after she set her foot on the stirrup, she was pushed both by her hand and by her hip.

Just then the horse moved a little bit, making (Y/n) a little wobblier. Thankfully, the movement also helped her sit better. Soo-Yun passed her the reigns and slowly made the horse walk out of the stable and into a bigger open area so that she could learn how to direct the horse. She seemed to get it at first, and she even started to enjoy it. Until the horse started to go quicker and she couldn't control it anymore. To be honest, it wasn't going that fast, but the thought of how much faster it could get scared her.
