Yeonjun's POV

Seo Changbin. I hate him just as much as I do Spear. The guy always sits too close to Y/n and always is in her ear whispering something. The worst part is she gets flustered when he does or when he says out of pocket things. It upsets me and I wish nothing more than to pull her away from it. Though, I needed to not be so irrational. 

At any rate the King of Delinquents himself, Changbin, enters the class exactly as the bell rings. I watch him go to his seat without a care in the world.

"Class! Please refer to last week's notes on Trig identities with respect to Derivatives. We will be reviewing the past couple of homework pages today."

Everyone starts gathering their notebooks and homework onto their desks. Though as I do, a classmate from besides me makes small talk with me.

"What was that commotion with you and the transfer guy?"

"He was flirting with my girlfriend."

"OH shit.. I would have decked him!"

"I almost did. Though, Y/n would have hated that I started a fight.. especially since he is a friend of hers."

The teacher begins to speak again and our conversation ends abruptly. Though after some minutes, I get a text on my phone from one of the investigators I'm working with.

NEW MESSAGE FROM:  Mars

Hey kid,  do You mind coming in?

I am a bit busy right now. Is it an emergency?

No, its just a new lead. Head over as soon as you are free.

I'll be there.

Seems I could never get away even for a second.. Though I would do anything to get Spear off the streets.. Even if that meant having my day be in total chaos. 

"Question number 2. What is the derivative of tan(2x)sec(X) ? Lets focus on why you all got this wrong.."

Lunch was actually a bit blissful. It was mostly because Changbin was not there to join us. And it seemed as though Y/n was as casual as ever. However, I could tell she was hiding something under that pretty smile of her's. I felt bad that it was probably my fault to have caused that fake face on her. Maybe it was the right time to tell her who I was and why I was always distant? I mean, when I date her I'll have to be honest.. She can become extremely insecure especially with how popular I am already with girls at the school.

"Yeonjun..Are you okay?" Y/n asks.

"Yeah, I'm good. Just still tired even with my daily Math nap."

"You need to sleep. Do yourself a favor and take the night off. Only study for an hour or so if you really need."

"I will try Y/n." 

Though, I didn't sleep much either that night.. Especially after meeting with the investigators. The leads they had debunked two of our major suspects to be only low criminals who sold hardcore drugs on the black market. They were arrested, just not as Spear. And the ongoing investigation I had the authorities do on Changbin for Y.n's safety came with some interesting information.

"With that out the way. I want to talk about your request to investigate that high school kid.. You go to school with him right?"

"Yes, I can't help but feel there is something up with him. I want to protect my best friend and crush. Since he is getting too close to her."
