Alas nuebe ng gabi at nandito ako sa study table habang nag-scascan sa aking mga notes. I am expecting na magkaroon naman kami ng surprise quiz bukas, yan ang technique ni ma'am, may short quiz after lessons para sure na makikinig talaga yung mga students nya. My technique when it comes to studying is do not memorize it but only familiarize it, kase may tendency na maiiba yung definition when it comes to the real test, so we don't have to do memorization but familiarization is a must. Dapat din intindihin mo yung binabasa mo, word by word and stanzas by stanzas.
Lumipas ang limang minuto at natapos na din ako agad. Parte nadin ng hobby ko ang pagbabasa ng kung ano-anong libro, pero halos lahat ay mas interesado ako sa encyclopedia and mostly din sa science branch na zoology and biology.
I heard the door opening. "Bunso, want some fruit?" Bungad ni ate.
"Yes, pakilagay nalang sa gilid ng table." Sagot ko without giving her a glance.
Napahinto ako sa pagbabasa when ate Jihye grabbed my book at ibinalik ito sa book shelf.
"Ate wha-"
"Shush! You've been studying for a year now. It's time to have some fun." Baling nya habang nakangisi.
I look at her confused. I have to read that book! Nasa chapter 176 na ako eh, about sa animal evolution throughout the years! I must read it!
"Ate I have-"
"Shut it, abeoji is worried about you over studying." Pinakuloan nya ako ng masamang tingin.
[Abeoji means 'father' in Korean term]
Di na nya ako hinintay pang sumagot at agad na akong hinila patungo sa kwarto ng kuya Dojin ko. I just let her grab my arm na parang manika lang ako since I'm not that heavy though pero di din ako mabigat. In between the two.
Nakita kong nakaupo si Kuya sa kama habang abala sa laptop nya. Nasa table ang lahat ng mga plates nya and I admit, magaling talaga si Oppa sa paguhit ng kung ano-ano.
"It's movie night!"
Tanging laptop lang talaga ang meron kami kase wala pa kaming television. Kila Teresa lang ako nakikinood ng mga telenovela at teleserye sa GMA at ABS-CNN channel sa television nila.
"So anong papanoorin natin? Horror, romance, or fanstasy?" Tanong ni Kuya habang abala parin sa laptop nya.
"Hmm...how about Korean dramas?"
"No definitely not." Oppa Dojin disagreed immediately.
"Edi don't." Inirapan sya ni ate.
Napaisip din ako. Ano kaya ang magandang papanoorin tuwing gabi?
"Guys papanoorin nalang natin yung wolf warriors 2? Astig yun." Suggest ni Kuya.
"No, it's too manly."
"Edi cocomelon nalang! Tsk."
"Chuchu TV gusto mo?"
"Di' joke lang hehe."
It took us almost 8 minutes to think about what kind of movie we should watch. I kinda regret agreeing with my sister, I should be studying by now.
"Aha! How about Disney movies? Like.."
"Encanto!" Malakas na sigaw naming dalawa ni ate.
"Sige, now it's settled. Encanto indeed. Bet ko yung we don't talk about bruno na kinanta nila." Ani Kuya.
Tumango si ate. "Dong- uihanda."
[I agree]
It took us 1 and half hour para tapusin ang movie kaya alas dyes na ng gabi. Inaantok narin ang kambal kaya matutulog na raw kami since may klase pa sila bukas.
