Subin Lee
Dalawang linggo na ang nakalipas simula nung' landfall ng bagyo.
Today is our first subject and it's professor Cassandra Lundy Belos teaching us right now. I am so focused that I forgot about the time. I wanna be honest, I am not focused about the lesson but my eyes were on her's. It's not my fault that she's seriously breathtaking, slowly taking my sanity away. Her aura is intimidating and she's very strict, I remembered yesterday, she just suspended two students because mali yung spelling ng name nya sa quiz papers nila. Walang magawa ang Kasama ko kundi ang sumunod nalang.
It's very odd because I don't find her scary at all, but I feel nervous whenever I'm with her after classes helping her with her things. She's like a rose, pretty and captivating but she's hard to get because of her spikey thorns.
"Hey Subin. Wanna be my partner for the group presentation tomorrow?"
Binalingan ko ng tingin si Ashley, she's the vice president of this class and maganda din sya, maputi at blonde ang buhok. Katulad ko ay half din sya. She's beside me, so close.
I nodded. "Sure, we-"
"Miss Lee and Miss Garcia, what are you two talking about during my class?" Nakataas ang isang kilay nya.
She's looking at me with something in her eyes like it's telling me something but I don't get it.
"Uhm, I was just asking her if she is okay to be my partner sa presentation nyo po bukas, ma'am." Sagot ni Ashley at halatang natatakot sya kay ma'am.
Mas lalong pinakuloan ako ng masamang tingin ni Professor Belos. Her aura is pushing me against the ground. I don't why but I think I just did something bad.
She looks at Ashley with a blank expression.
"No need. Since Subin Lee is smart enough to do the presentation by herself and the rest will do it in groups."
No one dared to talk back.
The classes continued.

"Yes! Highest ako kanina sa quiz!" Sigaw ni Teresa habang nasa cafeteria kami.
Alas onse na ng umaga and it's lunch time na. May another two subjects kami mamayang hapon pero we were given two hours break and lunch time.
"Naka highest ka kase 'di si ma'am Sanchez yung prof natin kanina. Sus." Si Helen habang nguya-nguya ang sandwich nyang dala.
"Do you hate ma'am Sanchez that much, Tes'?" Tanong ni Maria Luisa, she's beside me.
Walang tao masyado ang cafeteria na pinatatambayan namin because there's four more cafeterias kaya yung iba ay dun' nalang kumakain.
"Yes like 100 percent! Tsk, crush ko pa naman si ma'am kaso ubod ng redflag eh. She's always putting me in detention kahit mataas naman ang marka ko sa pagsusulit nya." Inis na binato ni Teresa ang paperbag na walang laman sa basurahan.
Tinawanan nalang sya ni Helen. "Kung maging flagpole ka nalang kaya?"
"No I won't!"
"Subin got the highest mark in our long quiz kanina." Si Luisa naman.
"Professor Belos already taught us about sa lesson nya kanina, inulit lang ni ma'am kase di daw naka follow up yung ibang athlete students." I explained.
Lahat sila tumango.
"Guys, are you free tonight?" Baling ni Helen sa amin habang nakapinta ang malawak na ngiti sa labi nya.
