A/n: More brotherly angst. Sorry for a short chapter. But don't worry the next Chapter is extra good, long, and packed with fluffy Caline content. I swear y'all will enjoy it. Lots of Love!

Caleb's POV

I had been spending so much time with Catherine, I had almost forgotten about Philip! Deep down, I was truly worried about him. He's been working so hard, some days without a drop of sleep. I went to check up on him right before I went to bed.

I cracked the door open, and walked over to Philip who had dark bags under his eyes from the lack of rest. His hand rested on his cheek and had a feathered quill in the other. I put a hand on his shoulder, "Phil?"

"Stay back, Witch!" Philip shouted at me. I stepped back for a second before easing back into proximity.

"No witch, just me. Calm down," I replied, startled. "Philip, I'm worried for your health. You're overworking yourself. You've barely slept a wink! Have you even eaten, I know Catherine's mother can be a bit pushy on that bu-"

"No, I'm fine," Philip said, groggily.

"When was the last time you actually slept? And how many hours did it last?" I asked, concerned.

Philip just looked away and groaned. Okay, he definitely needs some sleep now, or I swear to the Lord, he will be such a grouch tomorrow and will lash out again.

"Oh, Philip. Please go to bed I don't want-" I paused. "I can't lose you too."

"Like you care!" Philip scoffed. "Well someone has to do the work, no? You're busy with your 'lovely' Catheerineeeeee."

"I do care. I'm your brother," I tried to convince Philip. "I care, I worry, and I love you."

"Then perhaps you should begin acting like it!" Philip raised his voice, getting out of his chair. "No, instead I do most of the work on my own, because you're too busy forgetting who you are!"

"Shall I remind you? Witch Hunter! Hear me? Hunter, not Lover, or whatever it is you are to her! You spend too much time with that Catherine!" Philip scolded me.

"Are you jealous of Catherine?" I inquired. "She hasn't done anything horrible to you, she checks in with you same as I!"

"I just want you to be with me through this, Caleb," Philip pointed to the table with belongings scattered. "Is that too much to ask?"

I frowned, finally taking into account the fact that I was doing this for him. All for him, and I haven't been there like I've promised to be. "I'm sorry for making you feel this way. Philip, no matter what, no matter where or when, always remember: that I love you and care for you, and nothing can change that."

Philip looked up at me, eyes drooping, and a frown on his face. "Look at you. Your eyelids are barely open. You must be super exhausted!"

"Mhm," Philip mumbled. With that, Philip let himself fall, face planting into my chest. "Hnnnngggg."

"It's alright. I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere, never." I hugged in close and stayed there until I heard his soft snores before I finally put us both into bed.
