A/n: I was not okay at all after what happened in Thanks to Them. My Thoughts: 1st, what an amazing and heart-wrenching episode. 2nd, Hunter and Flapjack have my heart till the very end. RIP Flapjack. :'( 3rd, DO NOT come after me but even though Hunter gets possessed by Belos, Hunter looks... *Debbie Ryan hair tuck* I'm sorry, I can't help it! 4th, this is gonna be confusing slightly since we now know that the witch's name is Evelyn and not Catherine (as this was made before S3), so please just let that go for the storyline the creator has given us.

Caleb's POV

Flapjack stopped at the doorway. I was shaking in fear of what had happened. My breathing was unsteady and I stumbled to the door. I opened it, closed it, and sank to the floor. I curled up keeping the portal close to my chest. Flapjack kept trying to cheer me up with his chirps, but I wasn't paying any attention.

"Sweetheart?" Catherine came from around the corner. "Caleb?"

She saw me panting on the floor and her happy expression faded into one of worry. "Caleb? What happened?"

I didn't turn to face her or look in her direction. I kept my eyes glued to the floor or the portal. I started to cry again knowing Catherine knew all along. She was right. "You were right, Kitty! You were right all along! All along."

Catherine dragged me close to her warm body. Her hand ran through my hair, trying to sooth me. "I wish I wasn't, My Love."

"I'm so sorry," Catherine comforted.

"I'm such an idiot!" I ridiculed myself.

I finally looked to Catherine, her eyes are wide as I ask her something, "Do me a favor... Hide the Portal! You know the Isles better than me, better than Philip. Philip will come looking for it. He won't rest until he gets what he wants! Hide it somewhere where no one will find it again and take its hiding place to your grave! It's too dangerous in the wrong hands!"

"And I can't let anything happen to you or the child. Or anybody on the Isles," I said.

"But-" Catherine started.

I interrupted in a more orderly tone, "Catherine, please! Don't argue with me about this. Just hide it and don't lose a word about it. Or destroy it for all I care!"

Catherine looked at the door in its folded up state and drew a spell circle with her finger. The spell devoured the portal and it disappeared to who-knows-where. As long as it's safe and far, far from Philip. I can't lose anyone anymore.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's been calm for a few weeks. There was this bad gut feeling I couldn't shake away either. Like Philip has been haunting me. Voices creaking through the walls, never ending nightmares.
I woke up and grabbed some breakfast. The Palismen were watching through the front window. I didn't think too much of it. Suddenly, frantic chirps were coming from both Flapjack and Opal.
"Chirp! Chirp! Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!" Flapjack twittered.
"Curr! Curr! Curr! Curr! Curr!" Opal tweeted.
My eyes widened in shock at what they were saying. "Philip? Coming here? Are you sure?" I asked.
Flapjack's expression was one of terror and fear. Frequent noises of warning. I had to get Catherine and the baby outta here now!
Catherine slept peacefully, her hands rested on her stomach, her baby bump was bigger now. I whispered, "Kitty? Hey!"
She stirred awake, "Is something..."
"Sorry I woke you up Sweetheart, but you need to leave the house," I requested.
"What?" She mumbled.
"Philip. He probably wants to ask where I hid the portal!" I said.
Catherine sat up immediately, "And how does this make you need me to leave?"
"Philip is not to be underestimated! I doubt he wants to sit over a Cup of Tea." I explained.
"Obviously Not! But I won't leave!" Catherine asserted. "I swore on our wedding day to stay with you, for better or worse. I'm not breaking that swear! If he does one slip up, I will-"
I interrupted her, "No! Darling, My Love, Listen. You're a strong witch, I know that. And any other time I would've let you stay, but you're not agile as you were and the pregnancy has taken your strength atop that."
"I can't have you and the Child be exposed to any threats, that includes my own Brother," I pleaded. "If you stay, Philip won't hold back to hurt you in order to hurt me. He knows you're my weakness!"
I caressed her cheek and her belly. Her eyes became glossy knowing that I may never see her again. "Please Catherine, if not for me or yourself, do it for our child and their safety. Please!"
Catherine tugged on my hand resting on her face, "What if he'll hurt you?!"
"He's my little brother... and I know he still loves me. If he does hurt me, it won't be badly," I said.
"Promise you'll be back!" Catherine cried.
"Kitty..."
"Promise it, Caleb!" She squeezed my hands tightly.
"I promise. I'll be careful," I replied.
We then kissed passionately, longing that this wouldn't be it, that this wouldn't be our last kiss, and that we wouldn't really have to say goodbye. I pulled away and kissed her belly. She grabbed the important things and met at the back door, leading out into the woods.
"Goodbye Sweetheart, I love you so, so indescribably much!" I kissed her lips one last time.
"I love you so, so indescribably much too. Please be safe and cautious." She waved goodbye and carried her belongings away. We waved to each other until we couldn't see one another, this was it.
Alright... shit's about to go down.
