A/n: Small Chapter. Enter Philip.
Caleb's POV
Catherine and I were strolling through the market, I had to split off to go grab a couple things. I wasn't watching where I was going and bumped into someone. I helped pick up their things and kept moving on. I stared forward, but still towards the ground. There laid a book, I went down to pick it up, "Need a Hand?" I asked the person in front of me.
I looked to see a familiar blue pair of eyes, "Philip?" I stared in shock. Philip's bright blue eyes never changed, but his facial hair certainly did.
"Caleb?" Philip gasped.
I picked up the dropped book and fallen papers and gave them to him. "It's really you! I'd recognize those blue eyes anywhere! I-I thought- It's great to see you again! I've missed you, it's been so long... so long that you grew a full beard," I stammered with happiness.
"Yeaaah, I... needed some change," Philip said.
I put a hand to my chin in a thinking position, "Will require some getting used to, but it's good. Thought about growing one too, but I'm afraid that a blonde beard doesn't look as well as a brunette one... and Catherine doesn't like facial hair."
"You're still with her?" Philip inquired.
"Of course I am," I said, slightly waving my hand to show my gold band. "I would probably be dead if she hadn't forgiven me for my lie."
"Oh..." Philip sighed. He looked away and the tips of his big mustache drooped. "Caleb, I'm sorry for everything I said and did all that time ago. I was childish and it was wrong of me. I've come to realize that living alone-"
Philip's POV
Caleb then placed his arms around me and squeezed me tight, my hands pinned behind me. "Pip, I was never mad at you. Right now, I'm happy to see you again! You can't imagine how much I missed you!"
His kind voice, always so gentle and caring. But he betrayed me, and I was here to finish the job. First, I just have to get on his good side... I held my crooked dagger behind me and gripped it tight. "I missed you too," I replied trying to be genuine, a hint of sinister in my voice.
"Caleb? Are you coming? What's keeping you there?" A Voice interrupted. My hands began to shake in fear, it was the Witch!
"Kitty, look who I met again!" Caleb exclaimed.
"Ah! Hello Catherine, It's been a while..." I started.
"Hello," Catherine greeted with a darker tone.
"I owe you an apology for my behavior when I was still living with you and your family. It was unacceptable and rude. Perhaps we could start anew? After all, we're sibling-in-laws now, I see," I said in my most genuine voice.
Catherine maintained her scowl, "That will take time..."
Caleb's POV
"I'm just wondering, considering you don't like the Isles and took all our notes, wouldn't you want to go back to Earth?" I questioned.
"I did, my place is not here on the Boiling Isles. I couldn't get the Portal to work, just yet. And I don't know what I'm missing..." Philip's head sank slightly.
"Perhaps I could help?" I offered.
His head perked up, " You would do that?"
"Anything for my Little Brother," I replied.
"Besides, we have a lot to catch up on!" I grabbed Catherine and pulled her close to my side. "Speaking of it: We have great news!"
"Are you sure you want to tell?" Catherine asked, nervously.
"I think he deserves to know he'll become an uncle!" I scoffed.
Philip's eyes opened wide like when we met again a few moments ago, "What?"
"Catherine and I are expecting a Child!" I replied with a great smile.
Philip's face turned emotionless, but his voice gave happy condolences. "My, in that case, Congratulations. You need to tell me immediately when I can meet my niece or nephew."
"I can't wait!" I hugged Philip back again, only he was able to hug me back. I felt warm again. I think things are really turning up for the better!

Catherine's POV
Caleb had reunited with Philip, and I wasn't exactly pleased. I mean he apologized, but I was extremely skeptical, like something about it wasn't right. Caleb was immediately so forgiving.
Your brother leaves you, then after almost a year, he's back all of a sudden and apologized for something that really tore his Brother apart?
Philip was also not very pleased to see me. His attitude of a more calm-ish demeanor became weary and spiteful, like he was hiding something.
Caleb was making dinner for us because I'm getting to the point where the baby has restrained me to the couch and bed. He was making a lovely smelling stew and I had this awful pit in my stomach.
"Are you sure you want to do this, Caleb?" I asked, nervously. Caleb had said he was going to spend time with his brother during the day to help him about, but I was still worried.
"I am. Why shouldn't I? All Philip wants is to return to Earth. You've seen him, he's like a whole new person," Caleb said, stirring the pot.
"Yes, I know. It's just-" I paused. "I'm skeptical about this, Caleb. I don't know if you can really trust him. There's just this strange feeling in my gut about it, and it's not the baby."
"I don't want anything to happen to you," I shrank back into the couch.
Caleb came over from the kitchen and bent down so his eyes could meet mine. "Nothing will happen to me," He promised. "I'll help Philip with the portal and return Home to you by the End of Day."
One of his hands reached under my chin softly, and his thumb slightly caressing the edges of my face. "I will every time. Everything will be alright, my Love," he reassured.
With that he pulled his lips to mine, slowly. Gentle and Passionate for a moment before splitting, "I'll be fine, Promise."
"Just be careful, that's all I ask... Beside coming home everyday, please," I requested.
Caleb chuckled and kissed me again, "Of course. Now I must get back to the stew before it boils over."
I laughed, holding my stomach. I have a bad feeling about this...
